So goody implied that we didnt manage the expectations that come with being chased by every team as the reigning premiers. Given we won away from home 100% of the time and lost at the G its hard to argue with. Equally, players seemed tired for periods in the 2nd half of games. They also appeared to have lost some hunger as the year dragged on and we had to expend so much energy playing against so many top 4/5 teams

Yes Thanks BM. Why are they playing in a Vic league if they aren't part of some sort of future strategy? Not expecting you to know the answer to this. There are a bunch of big clubs around WA and SA that also aren't Victorian as well. Odd. Winning the VICTORIAN FL by beating Southport isn't the same as beating Box Hill hawks for example. Its hard to get excited

Sorry, I keep my eyes firmly focussed on the Casey team and ignore most of the other VFL results, so who the hell are the Southport Sharks? My quick research suggests they aren't aligned to anyone. Would they be the next team to come in from QLD otherwise why do they even play in a Victorian league.

Goody's comments at the presser were interesting, suggesting the season is out and he expected a decision in the next few days ... obviously the trade period isn't for some time so in theory it can drag out much longer as manager may want teams to up their offers and compete for his signature ... if he makes a decision in the next few days then he is gone in my view

In the MFC email today about the GF ballot ... the word doc said it was 'one in all in' or 'one out all out'. Interesting, assume that means that any grouped barcodes are treated as one entry and then you either all get to go or no one gets to go. What about if there are only a few sets of 3 seats in a row left and your entry has 4 or more barcodes - I assume you miss out even if you are selected in a random approach.

Been reflecting on why there wasn't a 4th emergency training and goodys interview where he seemed to suggest tmac was a chance ie. 50/50 this week but even better next week or something similar ... putting two and two together l wonder whether tmac might be having a fitness test somewhere away from the media and onlookers
