Dont forget that lots of stuff that might or might not have performance enhancing properties can be used as masking agents. Warnies diuretic is a classic example of this - not saying he used it as a masking agent but thats why his stuff was banned- because it can be.

Yes they are arrogant BUT if they are guilty then this is the biggest doping scandal in team sport in the world. Systematic doping by a club. If they are let off the hook then all sport as we know it will be a free for all and who has the most money to pay for drugs will win. It cannot be allowed to happen if we want clean sport, which we do. It doubly cannot be allowed to happen given the conduct of their club since.

well, 1 injection of a banned substance is too many. injections themselves are ok. however it definitely seems like attempted use!

Btw 1000 injections divided by 34 players works out to 29.4 injections each. Obviously you cant have .4 of an injection but missing one or two would still make it 27 or 28 injections. Which is ridiculous.

Im not sure that some players missing regular injections would have much of an impact on penalties given they would still have had some.
