I was under the impression that they werent able to train with their club while suspended... as they currently are. So all bans if they were to occur would begin when they stop training?

They need to do away with the mimimum level of salary cap too.

I find it really hard to believe that essendons legal team has been selective in what it tells the players. Not. Its been clear from day 1 they havent had the full story. I would be asking for my money back if my lawyer treated me like that.

There are only 2 ways you can have true equalisation. 1. Divide all revenue streams equally. Ie tv rights, gate etc (not membership and club raised revenue though) 2. Televise the fixture creation And work out some way of making it random - ie pull balls out of a hat or something.

ill tell you what - if it turns out hirdy has been as negligent as we all think, and is proven so in court (Ie worksafe or the CAS), hirdy will find himself absolutely friendless. cant imagine any essendon fans with any power supporting him in any way.

Technically they are already suspended as they have been given infraction notices But 2 of them played v ireland And they are training. So i would contend that they arent suspended yet

When they are found guilty everyone will say Asada are hopeless Afl are corrupt There was no evidence This is a joke We have no faith It wasnt the players fault Etc etc. The club will sell hope for longer and therefore survive Itll be off to the international court of arbitration for sport no matter what happens Then we will see all the evidence But still asada will be portrayed as hopeless etc

My essendon mate is now at the point where he believes even if they get found guilty by the afl it will be a disgrace as asada have no evidence. Which is exactly what essendon want him to believe

I am, You are, we all are, responsible for what goes into our own bodies. they clearly asked no questions. they signed waivers exonerating anyone else of responsibility. they obviously did no research themselves. they were responsible for what went into their bodies. the players and no one else. if they didnt know then they were deliberately ignorant. if they were "young and stupid" they should have been guided by the older heads. they have no excuses. if they were injected with TB4 then they were the only ones responsible for it, and they will be held responsible for it. we all have the power to say no. 8/42 did say no. they were not victims. they were cheats.

IF essendon get smashed come afl tribunal and ASADA's evidence is released, making it clear to one and all that its clearly negligent governing (in addition to other things), then workcover would be a disgrace if they didnt get involved.
