problem is we start with sydney and both adelaide teams away, as well as brisbane. dogs and hawks are no pushovers either but we should be beating them if we are to make finals. honestly if we are 3-3 i think thatll be a pretty good start. 4-2 and ill be pumped. the fixture does get a touch easier from there in terms of travel etc but its a long way home....

this sent me on a curiosity chase. geelong's average age in 2022 was 28yr 7 months Pies last year was 27year 9 months ours in 2021 was 24yr 10 months our semi final last year, our average age was 26yr 5 months. (the blues were 6 months younger than us) oh, and for reference the youngest team to win a flag was the pies in 2010 at 24 years and 2 months......younger even than the baby bombers. what does this mean? i dont know.

Honestly it depends on how hungry we are. Is the team as hungry and angry as us fans are? Do the last 2 years burn like a furnace inside? Or are they happy with winning a flag a few years ago?

We need a backup ruckman who can play 15 games a year and allow max to only play 7 or 8 after this year, letting him rest but be fresh when he does play. Like brisbane did with their ruckman in their treble. Is that person english? Na he'd want to be number 1 and fair enough too.
