when i was president of my local soccer club, i literally spoke to the players ALL THE TIME. i WANT them to come to me with concerns ideas etc. i would never, ever touch tactics or team selection, thats the coaches job. but goddamn i wanted to know if theyre unhappy and why. so i could either fix it or explain why it is the way it is. she hasnt spoken to him or his family is absolutely gobsmacking.
