how did you find out when training was on??

the best bit about this is that it was player driven. to me it really shows they want to go out, get to know eachother and work together to get better and that the coaching staff are listening too!! (this is highly under-rated)

800 bucks....easily joint MFC/MCC membership, as well as a stand alone MFC membership. 800 bucks.....i wonder how many centrelink payments that is -
yeah ok maybe i was a bit hasty saying hes slack. and i can run 15k. itd take me a while though. but then im not a professional athlete either.
-
just my opinion and thinking. i dont want him is the bottom line. even without the whole drugs thing. if he was 20, id be thinking about it a LOT harder.
-
i think chris judd knew. look at his face when the two of them are holding the cup up. ill ask my brother, he knows more about it all than i do. and i dont know how he did it. i have no evidence. were the afl even testing for those drugs? and would the coach necessarily realise it? its not hard to hide at the back of the group for group talks. anyway with 10 years of experience surely hed have experimented with what to use and when re training and games and he did get away with it.....

mmm and it changed and changed again. as they understand it more, their votes will change too and as the younger kids become more confident in their environment and start to take ownership of it. last year they put white, yze and nieta in it, and to those young kids those choices probably looked pretty good a year ago. its a long process. took the cats 10 years but look where they are now

who says he ever came down? prolly took a cocktail of [censored] to make sure it lasted longer and if you look at the grand final footage..........it is obvious. haha

hrm leadership. first the club and players must decide what it wants to be. i dare say they will want to decide they are the hardest working, who work together the best (or something) then its simple select the leaders on who fit what they want to become the best. if we want to be the hardest working club, pick the hardest worker as the captain. its simple. if we want to be the slackest, softest club around pick bruce.

er, actually, speed, cocaine, extacsy would be performance enhancing. run all day, no pain it would be like playing the game in slow motion, because your senses are heightened. massive amounts of energy normally one just hits the d-floor for 5 hours flat out. he played footy infront of a nation instead. btw, one only needs to look at the photos after their flag win of him to see that he is off his face. look at his eyes! in addition, i say NO. we have a group of players, the core of which could be around for 10 years. why bring someone in who at maximum can be around 1/2 that long? and who goes against the whole culture that we are trying to create? forget him.

either way, if anyone can think up a good idea......

who cares. i didnt feel sorry for them when they finished last 3 years in a row. id like it to happen more often. bunch of cheating bastards

ok boys ive got a friend in the television sports media. im sure that if i could convince him that there was a positive story about melbourne hed do a report on it. ive suggested comparing this preseason to last preseason, when we had a lot less players fit, trained all over the place, and didnt have goal posts till round 4, whereas this year we are training early, less injured players, and have a ground with goalposts already not to mention we have cut a lot of debt and jimmy and dean seem to finally be changing the culture of the club for the better, and weeding out the crap elements and people as they go. his exact words when i discussed this with him were, yeah but that'll take years. it took geelong a decade, i replied. anyway, ideas!

oh well, he will get a nice welcome from our supporters and the boys when IF he plays against us next year :D JUDAS
-
he had both shoulders strapped. he had two recos afterwards. he was still waaay too strong overhead. watts isnt that strong, yet, and in a key spot lik CHF it counts for a lot. but so does movement and pace - and if he has those two but not the strength then his game will suffer in the short term, but in the long term his game will be awesome because he can get the strength by working hard in the gym. besides, everyone has their off days, and he still had 5 shots on goal
-
i saw judd play in his year 12 - mine too. he kicked 8 goals in the first quarter against us - mind you, he was playing at full forward and we got smashed in the middle. he was just way too strong overhead. i saw none of the explosive pace that day, and he kicked all his goals from set shots. you could tell he was good, but not in the way that he is good at AFL, if that makes sense.

the solution is obvious get the best player ever he is clearly the best coach ever. because he could play. wow great logic. a coach has to be a teacher and communicator, as well as have a decent football knowledge, with the ability to motivate (long term) and get an entire club to work together. a player has to be able to run, kick chase etc. OF COURSE A GOOD PLAYER IS GOING TO BE A GOOD TEACHER, COMMUNICATOR, MOTIVATOR AND THEREFORE A GOOD COACH. wow what an obvious conclusion this is a fine appointment. bailey is making tough decisions to change the entire culture of the club. this is a good thing - but it also means that short term results will be sacrificed to ensure that the culture improves. in the long term the club will be A LOT better off. mark williams has an excellent coaching CV. does anyone here know if he even played afl or vfl? does anyone here remember david parkin or the guy who coached north to two flags in the 90s ( i cant even remember his name) playing football? did they win brownlows? no. does it matter how good you were/are as a player when youre sitting in the coaches box? no [censored] way.

missing in action - benno and no thats not cos im going to play badly, i just wont be there. good luck guys!
