I was at training today and he looked fine to me. He ran lap after lap after lap.... Did a bit of kicking and was all smiles.

Ok so It seems injuries to the lisfranc can be either a torn ligament or a snapped/ ruptured ligament, In some cases fracture of the bone. After digging up a few articles on Trent Croad It appears he had fractures of the bone and damage to the ligament. After listening to Josh Mahoney on AFL360 and reading the report on the website It looks like Mitch has a torn ligament with no mention of any fractures. Here's some info on the injury, without knowing all the details It sounds like the best result would be he's walking In a few months. http://www.sportsmd.com/SportsMD_Articles/id/283.aspx Obviously I'm not a doctor, I'm just trying to give some info on the type of injury.

Obviously we aren't going to play finals this year anyway so I'm not fussed in that sense. My concern is this injury has a history causing problems down the track. I hope this isn't the case for Mitch.

I don't think Travis Johnstone was a A grade midfielder. He had the tools but didn't have the work ethic IMO.

Just a quick heads up to anyone that hadn't heard. Fox Footy have decided to show both games on the 29th live, I think It's Vic Metro v's Vic Country & SA v's WA at Simmons Stadium. Obviously the week after It's live again on Fox Footy from Etihad.

He looks like a totally different player down back. He looks faster, harder, plays with more urgency, reads It so much better playing behind the ball. It's amazing what happens when you have to be accountable for someone, all of a sudden you cant just cruise around at half pace. Keep him there for the year or as long as it takes or until all of those assets I mentioned are considered the norm. Well played Killer!

I do find it amusing that Watts was drafted as a KPF & Hurley was drafted as a KPB.

Great move! He's started to look a little stale down back this year. Seemed to have a lot more energy & looked to be enjoying his footy.

Hey Guys Billy has been picked In a squad of 50 to represent SA at the U16 National Champs. The list will be cut to 25 on the 3rd of July. Fingers crossed!

It's simple. None of our senior players have an once of leadership therefore none of young guys have anybody to look up to. All they have is a bunch of guys to pick up bad habits from.
