I hate Geelong, but it's the right call and fair for them. What isn't fair, is the same teams going down there to play all of the time. If they can even this out, then people will be happy.

Based on what I've seen, surely Bolton isn't worth a 10 or 11 plus 18? He's flaky asf.

Since we got the wobbly boots on since about round 10, 2022.... We have WON 33 and LOST 29. LOST 4 finals in a row (Straight sets) We also LOST 10 of our last 15 in 2024. There are multiple factors as to why this has happened, but Goodwin has a hand in many of them IMO. It's a very big 2025 for the coach. 33 and 29 since that great run with "mostly" - Petracca, May, Lever, Brayshaw*, Petty, Oliver, Viney, Gawn, Fritsch and Pickett in the side is a big fail IMO.

The biggest load of time wasting, garbage drivel you will ever waste your life on.

You don't play moneyball with players like Schache, Hunter, Billings, McAdam, Fullarton, Hore.... and Goodwin also has a big say in all of that.

I don't think he will go, however people forget that we lost 10 of our last 15 including 5 of the last 6 and got a few hidings, the heat should always be on and any club should never be complacent. Our style of play is pretty garbage, It's a big 2025 for Goodwin.

The problems are....has this scared away any potential recruits, I reckon it has. Plus many issues still remain, including leadership and on field and off field issues. None of this has gone away just because he's signed. I know you know that but I think a fair bit of damage has been done now

Just a bizarre situation. Obviously no other club could get close to satisfying Melbourne with a trade. So many questions though.... His brand? Bigger club? So he rates other clubs better than ours? Dragging the club through the media and not caring if it burnt down. How does he teammates feel now? Plus, you don't just repair all this so called drama in one Saturday afternoon..... Always more to it. Must realise it cant be done, like I said, so many questions and personally, I won't look at him the same way again. Hopefully it's good for the club as a whole.

Totally agree WJ. People have let their emotions over control their ability to comprehend what was said, it's also rife on here and doesn't help the club at this current time. Also, why would anyone expect a president to contact a player anyway. And even more bizarre is why would a player expect the president to contact them.... there is more to this whole story, it will come out, until then, we are all guessing.

As a player, I couldn't give a [censored] if the president called me post injury. I'd be more expecting players and coaches to check in. The president may delegate, but I'm not sure I would personally expect it nor throw my toys out of the cot. I call BS everywhere.

Could be a late diamond however I wasn't too impressed with his stats in the WAFL before recruited IIRC. Recruiters must think there is enough to work with though.

Need more than her, like I mentioned, she is not responsible for all of the other issues. Petracca is gone, and I'd doubt Roffey is why.

I think people need to calm the farm a bit. Roffey spoke poorly & should resign, but getting rid of her does not solve club culture, we won't start playing electric football again, she isn't responsible for our terrible recruiting, nor off field antics of players, Petracca won't stay if she leaves either, we have bigger issues throughout. It doesn't just end with her gone, we need a whole club clean out/direction and buy in.

We won a flag 3 years ago....time for people to move on. I did not mention anything about being the worst performing club, however we did finish 5th last....After we lost 10 of the last 15 games and 5 of the last 6, including 4 games around 8-9 goal losing margin from around round 17. Our club on many occasions this year did not turn up to play. You clearly have rose coloured glasses on if you don't see we have many issues onfield. Some of our stats this year are up there with the worst in the comp. We also finished 5th and 7th the previous 2yrs, as we folded and went out in straight sets..... I however do agree that we are awful off field as well, but our onfield has nothing to do with Roffey.
