And the even more alarming thing is, why didn't Kennedy and umpiring committee approach the club and Gawn when the issue was raised? They never game him a chance to rectify it, instead they belittled him on game day. This is the sort of stuff that's going on and I don't like it one bit. If I were Peter Jackson I'd be writing a please explain to the AFL on this matter and others.

I've had a quick look, can only find two reference to the word "straight" in there and they don't relate to this rule even! I will have a better look tomorrow. I agree with you. Kid just needs a good run at it, has had a horrible injury run, he is very important to our future I think and one of the very few who can hit a target by foot consistently. Let's hope his injury curse goes away.

I have no issues getting games into Sam, however we are pushing for finals. While he is in the 22, he isn't in our best 22 when finals are on the line IMO. Soon as Watts, Hogan are back the better.

He should be fit at least and will rip it up at Casey hopefully. I do feel sorry for him, as stupid as it was. If his points were goals (most easy) he would've been a standout. Wish him well

Yes, in regards to Nicholls and Razor. Say what you want with your PC campaign but there's plenty of talk going around about not only Gawns frees against on the weekend, but our record in previous years. If I could be bothered digging it up I would but there's no need. Nicholls and Razor are the issue for me, I wouldn't think too many Dee's fans would disagree with that, apart from you. Anyone who watches multiple games on weekends would also see that games look to be evened up, not sure too many would disagree there. Not once did I say the umpires or the AFL are responsible for our rot. All IMO and my last post about it.

Lol. You missed the point. It is happening to every team, not just Dee's. For so many years this club has been [censored] weak at speaking up. The only umpires I have an issue with are Nicholls and Razor. As for the conspiracy, the jury is out.

He always is mate, it's nothing new. For some reason he hates Dee's, something must of happened back in the day, maybe some of the oldies can shed light on it?

Yeah I saw it mate, was even thinking of writing to channel 7 with some stats. How he/they cant see we improved is beyond me. Carey always sticks up for us at least.
