  1. That's the thing, I think his actions are poor. Even Goodwin and peers thought he needed a joint partner in crime!
  2. What's his current playing height and weight mate?
  3. He is also guilty of lots of cheap handballs out the back of packs too, doesn't take the game on like he used to IMO. Not to mention and ordinary leader when the chips are down. Shows bad body language when we are getting pumped too. IMO the worst captain in the AFL but a Demonland favourite as he stuck fat when we were a rabble.
  4. Agree. I wonder what his loyal supporters will say after today's VFL effort, "he's injured" I'm sure. Fact is, he's inconsistent, lacks intensity and flaps around with his butterfly net.
  5. He just extended his contract, he's not going anywhere
  6. With the poor performance of our forward line in recent times plus Hogan and Watts out, yes he should be able to get into this team. He's not as small as people think, he's wiry but he's 96kg, what's Hogan? Can't hurt to let him learn rather than play in the VFL with windy, muddy conditions and poor disposal. I'd like to see him in, but that's just me. I'm a big Weideman fan also.
  7. Does anyone else getting the feeling that Hogan may want to be closer to his family after the year he's had? It's worth the convo and I wouldn't blame him. Does Weid get the full time gig if that were to happen or would be need to trade for another and who would you want? I now think at this stage of his second season Weid should be at least holding down a KPF spot by now too.
  8. Didn't he write an article on Watts after that Collingwood goal? Pumping up his tyres. So a lot of truth to what you say mate.
  9. I agree here, so many selection bloopers this year, weird match ups and puzzling game day stuff, ie Jetta on Brown and game style in wind. However he is a first year coach but he really has done some stupid stuff this year and not enough has been said about him/coaches.
  10. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/expert-opinion/mark-robinson/jack-watts-has-lost-the-faith-of-coach-simon-goodwin-and-it-could-be-career-ending/news-story/8125d8ecb826b8c2d05c348f5adeb7e9 Ouch
  11. Thanks mate, I assumed wrong!
  12. Can anyone copy and paste it here please?
  13. We actually outscored GWS after QT, strange eh, not many have noticed that. 15mins of lazy football cost us the game.
  14. Sydney have just re-signed Reid, maybe we pursue someone like Sinclair? I still think we are a KPF down. It's hard to know where Jesse's headspace is after a rough year, would not blame the kid for going home to family, but if that were to happen, who would we like to get?
  15. Is there any way to look up KE% rather than DE%? It is our horrible kicking that lets us down.
  16. Earlier in the year, as ruck, Jack was great. I can't help but think his sealer v Pies was his premiership in his head, or final say against a club that beat him up on debut. I agree with the other poster that he gets too satisfied and happy with himself after a decent game. The thing I feel sorry for him about though is he has never knuckled down a position on field, always being thrown around. But that still doesn't excuse his one armed marks and one armed tackles and jogging around like just another number. From what I can see his best position is ruck, but he can't be ruck in this side unfortunately. Would I trade him? Yes I'd certainly think about it, but the frustrating part is he's our best kick.
  17. Well we do know some players are back from injury and Jetta, Hannan & Garlett have been playing sore, that'd be a big contributor but still a few other things wrong fundamentally too like overhandballing, bombing long into 50 and one arm tackles.
  18. We got smashed by a team who were horribly out of form and missing their 3 highest goalkickers in Cameron, Greene and Patton. We have thrown in the towel, something has gone wrong since WCE game. I wouldn't be surprised if we are actually carrying a lot of sore bodies and injuries as something doesn't seem right.
  19. At the end of day we are too inconsistent for finals so may as well play the kids now, good teams are building around this time, not dishing up weak efforts. Dogs, Swans, Crows for eg.
  20. Exactly. We have no stars... No Danger/Selwood, no Parker/Hannebery/Kennedy, no Treloar/Pendlebury, no Cotchin/Martin, no Fyfe/Neale etc etc... All we have is a bunch of meat and potatoes midfielders who over handball and aren't fit enough (Petracca). Nathan Jones is and always has been a B grader in a bad side and I will forever question his leadership onfield when the chips are down. We need some stars who can turn games on their head, along with another KPF who can friggin mark and lead.
  21. Keilty is not the answer, yet. Weideman is the future and next in line. I'd rather get games into Weideman than Keilty TBH.
  22. We will beat Brisbane but lose other two, players have shut up shop. Top 4 on the line and thrown in the towel. interestingly I think come finals Dogs' will have won 7 straight imo
  23. Great post and good to hear but.... We don't have any stars We don't have leaders in critical times We still have a dumb gameplan with overhandballing and bombing long We still don't have good key forwards I do admire the professionalism this club now has though.
