  1. I feel like he came into the side too quickly earlier in the year, with no VFL form behind him and just back from injury. I think he will do well.
  2. I personally like him more forward. a) He has a huge tank and could run most defenders ragged b) He is far more reliable as a set shot than he is in open play. I think he has an awkward kicking action which isn't suited to executing under pressure, but when he has time to set himself and run in, he is actually pretty reliable. I think it will free Watts up even more to play a more roaming role.
  3. What a joke
  4. Great win. We just had to find a way to win and we did. Time to start filtering in our injured players over the next month and get back to our best.
  5. I can almost guarantee Tex will play next week, so don't get your hopes up.
  6. Need a monster game from Oliver.
  7. Not sure if this has been mentioned, but the Facebook vid the club put up lists 4 ins and 4 outs, and doesn't mention Trengove and a couple of others included on the extended bench. It says... In: Hogan, Kent, Garlett, Smith Out: Tyson, Bugg, Viney, White
  8. We have to win this weekend. A game we would be expected to win, and if we can start adding Garlett, Hogan, Watts and Salem back into the side over the next couple of weeks, I will be feeling a little more confident again.
  9. Pathetic act. And then he flops trying to win free kicks in the aftermath. I've had enough of Bugg's faux tough guy act.
  10. Wow, that is pathetic from North and St Kilda.
  11. I think that is a pretty fair assessment. We just look to have a good spread at the moment. Everyone doing their job, with a couple of stand outs each week.
  12. Wowsers. What a win. Yes, they left the door open, but we had injuries and numerous other factors against us, and we still found a way. Friday night against Sydney will be huge now.
  13. West Coast fans rising fast in my most hated.
  14. That was an unexpected little slice of delight opening this thread. Go Weid, kick a big bag.
  15. Yeah, it's uncanny, and both obviously top 5 picks (I think Aish was 5 wasn't he?). On another note, is anyone else finding themselves watching a heap more footy this year? Given we are doing relatively well, most games are close and have ramifications on our chances of top 8 or even top 4.
  16. Pies skills are absolutely terrible, and James Aish is an awful footballer. Jeremy Howe already looking good again today. He is having some season.
  17. Well....wasn't that fun? There was a huge amount of melting on my Facebook feed last night and still this morning.
  18. I wouldn't say Jones has been playing a predominantly "inside" role, so not entirely a like for like imo. Jones gets on the outside a fair bit these days.
  19. Don't really care, but still made me cringe a little.
  20. our best user most underrated player suprising hard edge etc.
  21. Assuming you missed his joke. Joeboy saying a postive comment about Tyson is about as frequent as Halley's comet.
  22. But, but...he didn't even make Rohan Connolly's top 10 recruits of the year? No wonder he got the flick.
  23. That was the performance we have threatened to have all year, our only 4 quarter performance thus far. Some great performances... Hibberd - what a pick up Salem - I honestly think he is the most underrated player at the club. Many think he is decent, but I rate him higher than that. OMac - was great last week after quarter time, and was great again today
  24. Shuey is every chance to get a week for that bump on Dangerfield. The Fox Footy crew were pretty unanimous that he would be rubbed out.
  25. Garlett x 2 or 3 and Petracca x 1 both executed great "assists", that turned potential goals into absolute sodas. And just on the subject of Monday's goals, I have watched Watts' sealer at least 20 times. The way that footage illustrates his gut run where he starts level with Adams and just leaves him in his wake is fascinating. Add to that Will Hoskin-Elliott just staying on his man, who was no danger, and just let Watts bring it to within 25/30m of goal. They were absolutely cooked and we were running all over them.
