There were two brilliant passages of play. That first chase and tackle on CJ was perfect on the back flank. One minute later, his repeated scrambles for the ball against two hawthorn opponents resulted in a goal to Kysaiah. The forward pressure he brings is one of the main reasons for our turnaround this year.it was missing early on yesterday but once we started locking it in our forward line, the flood gates opened. This kid is a pure joy to watch.

I thought Bedford was great too. He seems to love hurting people and tackled like a machine. Our forward pressure was missing for the first half and I reckon he'd be awesome in the forward line with Pickett and Spargs. I'd love to see Ben Brown back in but Weid played the better game and would tackle more than BB. Jones has to play next week. I think Jordan is ready for a rest and I still think Melksham is a skier.

Mathews still talked him down after that brilliant chase down and goal later on. He's an absolute gem.

Yep agree, I think it would be a mistake to play him deep. He's much better up the field running his opponent into the ground and clunking marks. Who on earth thought it would be good for him to bulk up last year?
