  1. Great stuff Koz
  2. I think people get confused about the term "lost". I think they love Goody and are trying for him, however they are lost through a lack of a clear, successful game plan to work to. There's no clear system that works.
  3. Mmm, everyone notice how good the hi-def video slow mos are in the Olympics. The tech is available but nope.
  4. You may as well. No use leaving Pickett forward
  5. Not only does it white ant ( rather than support) the senior competition, it also makes winning a flag in this competition seem kinda devoid of value. This should be the second best competition in the nation. It seems like it's being run by clowns..... Oh hang on

I saw that. He seemed to just give up. He's hopeless at defensive acts

It really struck me how we just seem to go along the boundary year after year. Almost to cover up our poor disposal skills. It was so blatantly obvious tonight the way GWS would use the angles and move through the corridor fast to try and beat our defence getting into position. I know we've had a tough year. Gus, Oliver, Tracc, Gawn and May all injured. But geez our game style and skills just don't stack up. Until we transform these two aspects. We'll remain in mediocrity

You'd think they would have put Koz in the guts with a minute to go. Instead they waltzed it out

Just watch those last 3 minutes. We didn't even man up properly when they took position. We're so one dimensional

He had to kick it, even to space.

He's been playing with an injury all year in my opinion.

How on earth does that happen? It blows my mind how he was so cool under pressure and precise with his kicking and it's just disintegrated

I don't understand the hate for Pickett. He works his butt off.

Bowey is a shadow of his former first year self.

Geez, May pushed both hands in the back to spoil a certain mark to him.

Don't worry, we'll sub Billings off in another 15 mins

Greene is not a maggot. They've started paying kicks when players drop their knees the last few weeks. It's a smart move. The maggots are in yellow

The last 3 weeks we've lost a goal to clear ducking every week.

We made some great attacking runs in the last 5 minutes but that last kick in to the f50 is still killing us.

Windsor's 1 percenters are incredible for a first year player. If he doesn't win the rising star, there's something wrong with our game. (I.e. there's something wrong with our game)

How could you go past our national treasures, The Cosmic Psychos. Macca could wear his best stubbies and crocs. They could sing what is really the TRUE national anthem. The rider might kill the AFL finances. I watched them down 5 beers each in a 25 minute set at bigsound one year. Name another song you've ever heard that talks about chips, sauce and beetroot.

The AFL is a political organisation in the entertainment business. We have a core set of viewers who'll tune in anyway. How do we get more viewers who wouldn't normally watch? Let's get a famous American artist who's on the slide who'll be a bit cheaper. Paul Kelly, Mark Seymour, Mick Thomas, King Stingray, Amyl and the Sniffers, The Chats. The grand final in Perth under lockdown put on a cracking mix of Australian music. Best pre match entertainment I can remember. Nope, has to be a yank.

But you can guarantee a media piece about "how tough and brave" the players are and her mind is blown.
  24. Windsor for mine, he has some real Robbie Flower about him. Pace, skill and for a first year player, a real calmness about how he handles pressure and traffic. Yes we need talls, and yes May is great but starting to slow down a little and we need Petty to replace him. However, even if he went back into defence, I'm not confident about his confidence and fitness yet. The game is getting faster, we need more fast outside players along with some talls. Windsor is going to be an absolute gun and it's best we wrap him up now. A stellar debut season.
  25. He copped a lovely punch to the back of the head at one point directly in front of goal. Dropped the mark for some strange reason and deemed a fair contest, play on. JVR was not holding much a few months ago and now he's clunking them. Disco seems to be at least getting into the right position at the moment. He's improving for sure.
