I'm sure the chance of playing finals with an up and coming list in the next couple of years was on Warnock's mind. I'm also pretty sure the Carlton offer would have contained aspects which the MFC offer could not have, legal or not, but nonetheless the Carlton "brand" is worth more in AFL terms. And why would he not be a 10 year ruckman for them? If he's as good as we'd want him to be, I'm sure he could fulfill the role there

Personally, I feel supporters place too much interest on where they feel certain peoples' heart "lies" and the influence that will have on not only their application for a certain job, but their ability once they have attained the role.

RR, is it possible to save 1mil after these two players have left? As i make it, we have to spend at least 92.5% of $7.69million, equalling around $7.11mil. So at best, unless i've missed something, the max we can save in terms of TPP is about $580,000
