  1. Off field indiscretions? Like attending a funeral, having a few drinks after it, then turning himself into the club? Wasn't a great moment in his career, and deserved the week off, but surely you can't say that's hurt him.
  2. Hrm, getting worried about the Whelan situ. Surely he'll sign again, surely we need him. If he joined another club I'd...I'd... oh dear God i don't know. 4 of my 5 melbourne jumpers would need to be burnt.
  3. LOL, and then came Sunderland
  4. HT, i don't think Robbie Campbell is a very good ruckman, more of a run of the mill type player. And guys like Cox, Petrie are so good effectively because they become stupidly tall midfielders or KPPs and that's how they execute their hold over the match. Simmonds is not a "C" grade ruckman either. It's like any other position now IMO. You have to be able to do the main skill required of your position well, but you also have to have good general ability and also the ability to run hard all day long. Hence why you would call Jamar "C" grade. Even if he was a really good tap ruckman, you'd probably still regard him as such
  5. Pretty sure they're happy with Simmonds. Maybe they'll weigh into the Warnock saga. I'm sure they'd rather something like that rather than give up Morton
  6. Eagles seal Kerr deal So i suppose part of any Seaby trade would be the Eagles looking for a club who would be willing to take on the pay for next year?
  7. I don't see why W.C. would want pick one for pick two and Seaby, when we're almost guaranteed of getting Watts anyway. And i also can't imagine that Mitch Morton signed a one year deal at Richmond, so wouldn't he still be under contract? Shopping Chris Johnson, that's a bit of an odd decision IMO. Was starting to show glimpses and wouldn't fetch much anyway you'd imagine. 3 games over 3 years doesn't speak much for Dowler, trading him for Rivers sounds just like trading one injury prone player for another
  8. Does that mean he would have to nominate for the Draft, because he can't nominate for psd? Kerr signed a contract extension too in case anyone didn't know
  9. He had to stand up against the Saints, he almost cost us the game
  10. I wonder if it'll be a Pick 4 to Sydney for Ryan O'Keefe. Seems interesting, if my memory serves me correctly, that Roos stated O'keefe would come at a cost (a first round draft pick), then the "Power" come out and claim they'll be putting their top picks up for auction...
  11. Buy a copy from the club. They have it on CD and the money will go to the club.
  12. Bailey not giving up on Warnock

    Jack Watts!!!!

and here i was thinking that rushing behinds was the next killer tactic! Wait til we introduce flashing lights! I liked Mick Malthouse's comments, saying the whole thing is only good because you get to meet the players, all the tests are rubbish. Maybe if they had a "blockbuster fatigue simulator" he would enjoy the camp more
  14. So far, at a quick glance, you've expressed a desire to get Prismall, Bentley, Thompson, Warnock, Simon Taylor, O'Keefe, Watts, Lee, not this Klemke cat, Armitage, Dowler, Lovett, Blease, Zaharkis, a late pick for Grima, Tenace, Griffen or Reilley, Bannar, Jordan Lisle, and possibly Shaw, Bull, Lapin or Strauss.
  15. Is there anyone you don't think we should pick up BB?
  16. That was for 1st versus 2nd don't forget
  17. We're the only club to have won two Hat-Tricks of Premierships
  18. Anyway, moving on I love Brock, think he's a great on field leader, the ways you should go about attack on the footy and dedication at the task etc Don't get down to training so I don't know how he goes on the track, but I'm sure he's probably just as committed. But as it stands, I think he needs to stay out of trouble for probably another season yet. Within the last year he was in a fight overseas, which i understand wouldn't be heard by anyone if he wasn't a footy player (but the reality is that he is and should therefore stay out of things like that), lost his license and did burnouts in a high school car park These are not the off field actions of a man who is ready to lead a footy club IMO. I think he'll get there, he's only young but that's the upside, he doesn't need to be made captain yet. It'll just put undue pressure on such a young man with questionable off field actions.
  19. I suppose that's why he said that "it was a joke"
  20. HT, i thought our coaches were using portables for a long time before Casey came up. Happy to be proven wrong though. I remember Daniher's last week at the club and showing him going into a portable for the last team match-ups etc.
  21. This won't make you feel any better mate Styles keeps status after Bolton apology
