i've been on the receiving end of a couple of mods from this place in the past, but to be blatantly truthful I completely deserved if because I was pushing their buttons. Landing Roos would be the equivalent to when the Blues got Judd and how it completely turned around the perception of the joint. Of course winning the occasional game would be nice but we urgently need a positive future - sorry for stating the bleeding obvious.

Dodged a bullet with Hodge getting off his charge. When I heard he was contesting I thought he was gone for a couple, still don't understand how he got off but I'm not complaining. So far I'm 1 - 1 with the byw rounds, going to be tough to beat stinga this week.

I like the thought of Ratten as our coach, probably not as good a PR story as some of the others. If we don't get Roos or Clarkson then I'd like us to get him.

At the risk of talking for others I'd say his pot shot at us when he said that we had arranged a training session and then forgot to tell the players it was cancelled. Of course the fact that it was game day went completely over his head, why would the club arrange a training session on game day? That was his main gripe with the club, that's what he used to demonstrate how bad we are, along with the spa incident which ended being a complete load of tripe. Other than that what he said was fair

His life completely feel apart when he decided to leave Melbourne, and I don't mean just the club. I understand that he wanted to be close to his family and all that but so much of this could have been avoided. Such a sad story that shouldn't have come to this. Let's hope that the two families can somehow move on from this terrible situation.

I haven't been reading any articles on Melbourne lately but clicked on this one because of this thread. It was ok, just ok. However, the level of analysis was on par to what I'd expect from this place, not an alleged top line football media personality. It's almost as if when the papers have a spare spot they roll out an MFC article which is nothing new, just regurgitated opinions.

Ok, simple question for you. How did you come by this info? There's one glaring issue wrong with this, if it is true then the players would never ever give out that info to people they hardly know. If you have direct access to the players then why suddenly volunteer this info and not anything else in the past? what you say could be true but I highly doubt it, i've heard the exact opposite
