Proportional response

That is absolute solid gold.

Goody made a wonderful backhander to the AFL in his presser when he stated we don’t get to play the cats very often at the MCG. So, for all those who whinge about how we’ve always got this as an away game, pleas get along tonight to try and push this honour on to someone else.

And long may it continue -
Per demonland's post, @Supermercado has put together a comprehensive treasure trove of a website covering all things demons. I can easily lose long periods of time just trawling. It's great. http://demonwiki.org/1964+Under+19s+Season has a list of players who played in the 1964 U19's flag winning team, many of the players have images when you click on the links. Should help.

Don't sue sue.

He completely won me over Round 14, 2020. We played the Saints in a night game in Alice Springs. We won by 3 points in a close one. Trent Rivers, playing in game 5 of his career, was interviewed post game and glowing with the win. He was asked "what did Steven May say to you rather animatedly late in the last quarter" - Rivers replied "he said, you give me your best 5 minutes, and I'll give you mine". Backline general, treating the next gen with equality and respect. Had several chats with him along the way, and he's a gentleman to boot. Absolute ripper.

It's a bit of a stretch to say we won't win a flag in 130 years time because Rory Lobb may have played for us in the 2020's
-
I'm the other way Clinto - I'd rather get a good win out of the way early in the round and enjoy the weekend stress free. Nothing worse than waiting for Sunday night to roll around.

Still lovingly remember the QB game about 6-7 years ago when he, Straughnie and Tony Shaw lined up to do a Pies flavoured commentary for the game (press red for Ed) and we smashed them. They looked like they’d had a death in the family and never did it again. -
I’m actually glass half full on that one. Again tipping the hat to JT
-
Clever tactic from Goody - bamboozle Yze by putting Disco in the forward line. Think you know us? Think again.

2 weeks ago Eagles pushing for a priority pick. Reid steps up, now id say this is off the table. Wondering what the future looks like if he does a knee. Unreal how one 19 year old can put the team in his back.
-
Goody will have to contend with every other coach using this game as a blueprint to beat us. Win it in the guts and off you go.

Towball umpire 15 to the bush leagues next week

Show some fight for a bloke playing his first game FFS

Agree we’ve been [censored], but I’m ready to jump the fence and deck one of these useless umpires. * violence apparently doesn’t solve anything. I might find out later.
-
I’m guessing more. We passed a doggies supporter coming up the path from Richmond station. Must be having PTSD related flashbacks
-
Plenty of room to find a seat, support loudly to what should be a cracker. Especially if we belt them. Come on down!

I’m with @Binmans PA on our young debutant - no pressure; see ball, get ball. Everyone makes mistakes. Soak it up. As an example, Petts didn’t have the greatest of debut’s, it wasn’t the end of the world and he’s a ripper. Celebrate the good things that come your way - all the hours of slogging your guts out until now are for this moment.

take it to the bank if it came from Dannyz
-
Cranky suits you mate!!
-
Alan Johnson. Good times*. Just a ripper player with the ball. Loving the comparisons. *(except 87 prelim and 88 granny)
-
As long as it’s a football action and not head high, all good

Injury report update from Selwyn Griffiths. Lachie Hunter played match sim v Carlton 2's last week with no issues. Marty Hore looking to be back for Richmond game. I presume Smacca the same given the same expected return timing listed and previous advice from trackwatchers at training. Clarry not listed. Presume he plays.
