Jack Riewoldt
I just think Hardwick was non committal on AFL360 last night because their exit interview with Riewoldt is today. There's no way Dimma is going to open up to Robbo on TV on the club's thoughts before reaching an agreed position with Jack directly. I reckon if Jack wants another year, the club will sign him on. If the club wind him up, I'm not sure he'd move elsewhere for another year.

Finals 2022: Week 02
Just to nit pick, we lost 2 games away all year, Freo lost 2 and had a draw. Agree with your assessment though!

Christian Petracca hairline fracture.
Lin Jong from the bulldogs played in a VFL grand final vs Casey in 2016 with a bad shoulder. Knowing he would be targetted, he taped up his good shoulder instead. I reckon Trac should give that a crack. Hope I haven't created a spoiler alert.

2022 Finals Tickets
I reckon it would have been quicker than this in 1975 to get tickets by driving to your local ticket agent. Third world system.

I bought myself a robot vacuum cleaner for Father’s Day, it works a treat. I’ve called him Rick Lever as he cleans up everything in front of him. Over to you Rick - get rid of that scum and do my vacuum proud.

Farewell Luke Jackson
This comment reminds me of the rigmarole around here with respect to Jesse Hogan leaving and then subsequently signing a 2 year contract extension at the dees (2016?). The posts where then updated to along the lines of "Hogan's going.....in 730 days"

CHANGES: QF vs Sydney
I like the versatility that Smith offers as sub, my only concern is that his kicking for goal isn't great (admittedly based only on the last VFL final game v Sydney).

David Schwarz remains one-eyed
I cried when we triumphed last year, I cried for Robbie after the 1987 prelim and I cried when he did his knee for the third time. That's about it. Oh - and when I had my kids.

ROAD TO THE GRAND FINAL
I don't know if you saw this on the telly Paul, but it certainly looked like he was endorsing the Cats, Pies and suggesting we were cooked (moreso than flying under the radar). His comments can be seen at the 40:10 minute mark on last night's Footy Classified https://www.9now.com.au/footy-classified/2022/episode-47

Fly The Flag in 2022
My wife was dressing up our house last year in grand final week in red and blue for the game, I wasn't interested in any of it for this exact reason. Scars from 1988. Needless to say, it stayed up for a long, long time afterwards.

Connor McKenna
I believe it is the shortened form of "Gee - long in the tooth", gaelic for middle aged footballer.

Farewell Luke Jackson
Do you think Stephen Hocking will call Scotty's brother and orchestrate another AFL master stroke intervention to get Luke Jackson down to the cattery?
