Delistings
Dunkley was offered a contract earlier in the year but circumstances change when opportunity isn’t there. Looks like he will be picked up by another club as a DFA

TMac on the Trade Table?
Melbourne’s current stance is that Tom will not play another game for the MFC and will be traded. Obvious with only one game to go, but a lot will need to change for Tom to be on the list next year

Gary Pert on The Deebrief
We beat the eventual premiers in Perth a couple of weeks before they won the Grand Final?

The Choice: Christian Petracca or Paddy McCartin
We would have taken Paddy and internally we were quite excited by him as a prospect. At the time Lever was thought to have the potential as a big bodied midfielder but did his knee so was never in contention seriously for the early picks

CHANGES: Rd 14 vs St Kilda
It is certainly difficult to dissect but looking at the vision again Clarry was in the clear if (a) the handball gets to him or (b) the ball doesn’t bounce away from him. Clarry looks to be the runner in this stoppage where the dogs players push up on trac who tries to give the releasing handball. Unfortunately the hand ball misses, the ball bounces away towards Libba, Clarry almost gets hands on it but it’s toe poked away by Bont. could have easily gone the other way but that’s footy....

CHANGES: Rd 13 vs Bulldogs
With Preuss all good it looks like a no change
-
Scratch Match vs Pies (14/8/20)
It’s my understanding that Kyle had a planter fascia injury over Xmas which set him back after working especially hard overseas after the end of last season. Would certainly be nervous heading into the end of the year.
-
CHANGES: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
Will be three changes with Viney and Lockhart in with Preuss.
-
CHANGES: Rd 09 vs Port Adelaide
It will be just the two changes from what I’ve been told.

It may have been in the ABC interview Pert did shortly before. There is a link to that interview in the Inside Melbourne podcast on iTunes. https://podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/inside-melbourne/id1359521560?i=1000446676085
