  1. Well, those two are hardly good endorsements of positive behaviour. Shaw, a bogan Rat Pack member disliked by Buckley who pushed him out to improve culture and Goddard, another disliked teammate at two Clubs who would sulk and throw the lollies all over the change rooms at teammates errors. No, I’m afraid we’re going to need much better examples of genuinely champion players to convince me.
  2. Jonathon Brown, whose opinion I respect, said it went on far too long and he didn’t like it.
  3. I’m racking my brain trying to come up with one other player in 50 years of watching footy who so demonstrably and indiscreetly criticised a teammate on the field and within a quarter. Can anyone think of one? I can recall Ricoh used to wave his arms and look sad whenever teammates kicked poorly to him, but can’t recall ever seeing what May did today.
  4. You’re totally missing his point which was that he simply named some first year draft picks that haven’t taken 4 years to develop & contribute.
  5. Well, if he’s going to start yelling at his Melbourne teammates, he’s going to be pretty bloody hoarse by the time he gets through all the insipid forwards, starting with Weideman, Hannan, Tim Smith & MacDonald.
  6. We’d have been better off just using Knightmare’s Phantom Draft than the spud’s we’ve been paying for. Similar to the share market where so many of the highly paid Fund Managers can’t even beat the Index or an ETF.
  7. Great post Chazz.
  8. Well done Frosty. Keep sticking it up the haters & the doubters. Played on their talls as well as Walters at various times and was terrific. Doubtless, the haters will only focus on the 2 mistakes instead of the 10 positives.
  9. Frost has been very good.
  10. I’ll be so pleased to see Hannan & Wagner out of the Team. Lockhart is the big story thus far.
  11. Out of that lot only Harmes and Petracca are must signs. Hibberd is just about finished and if Viney had a different surname he’d be up for trade.
  12. Don’t want to split hairs, but what Roos said in response to a question asking who is Melbourne’s most skilful player, he replied it’s probably still Nathan Jones. Now, this opinion seemed to totally confirm the conversation they had been having about Melbourne’s skill level being so low across the team.
  13. Rubbish. You Frost haters are looking sillier by the week and will really end up with egg all over your face when Frost has a Top 6 B & F result.
  14. I suspected there would have to be at least one fool suggest Frost be dropped. If Frost were to be dropped, which won’t happen by the way, there would never have been a player dropped previously that has come off such a solid bank of games. Last night he soundly beat Tex Walker, a 400 career goal kicker, and you want him dropped. WTF.
  15. Brownie, you have to be a lot stronger over the ball than he was. He will be really disappointed in that effort and if you look at the replay, Hibberd had a little remonstration toward him. It was a great pity because he had a good first half for someone that had missed so much footy.
  16. They lost their best player at quarter time (Sloane) and played one short in that heat & humidity and come right over the top of us. Wow! Yes, the Smith & Weideman misses were horrible, but the defensive efforts of Wagner when he slid in and took the legs of two Melbourne players out and left Betts free to run into goal, the weakest effort by JKH that I’ve seen in a long, long time when he sh#!t himself and fell over which allowed Jenkins to run past him and handball for a goal, plus nearly everything that Oscar did were more horrific. I also can’t believe the drop off of Tom MacDonald!!!
  17. Jason Taylor certainly loves a slow, inside mid.
  18. This “easy in hindsight” argument really annoys me when you have a group of people/coaches on between $200 & $700k who spend so long in the company of the Players and they still get it wrong far too often.
  19. More games lost at Selection by the Dees over the last 2 years than by Umpire mistakes.
  20. Couldn’t believe they played Tim Smith ahead of Preuss. Another raging selection error in my view.
  21. Pruess - should have played Smith - should not have Jones - slow to react Fritsch - coughs it up Stretch - makes poor decisions Hore - very good game Frost - positives outweigh negative Gawn - brilliant & brave Viney - use ball better Oliver - use ball better
  22. Well said. Fritsch really coughs it up in traffic and Nathan Jones is too slow to react to play as inside mid now.
  23. Frost will be blamed but Nathan Jones fumbles again which is why it ends up in the square.
  24. Fritsch coughs it up so often.
  25. FCS Stretch has been solid for 3 or 4 weeks now.
