  1. True Dazzle but as a last resort, Spargs refused surgery early days but the Achilles failed to heal through non surgical means.
  2. That is so good that Luker is back in the fold, does he look OK? Also great that Windsor is back on the park but his infection is taking a while to clear up and I think that the Kolt will find it hard to be on the sidelines for such a long period, also very happy the Spargiepants and Tracc are both back in full training.πŸ˜πŸ‘

  4. Let’s be united in our storylines, Kozzie is contracted until the end of 2027, Kozzie willingly signed the contract as did we. We are all emotionally involved in this contractual agreement. We must let everyone know that we are serious in our intentions to honour the agreement and are not interested in anyone’s attempt to change or end the agreement and ignore the side issues.πŸ˜πŸ‘
  5. Thanks to BLWBNA, Ghostwriter, Gator, wwsw, Trisul, Harvey Wallbanger and all posters and special comments. Keep up the great work Gator, I have been a bit down and sad about Shane McAdam he has been under so much pressure to get his body right, he was really looking good and loving his footy again and then a ruptured Achilles. And then the very poor Scheduling of the Family day for 3:00 pm Friday afternoon during a work and school day is incomprehensible, brings down the mood of the players, sponsors and supporters that are unable to attend. Grrrr…!!!
  6. Sounds like the club have modified the story line Dazzle, I had the distinct impression that the club played Clayton to get him back in the fold and keep him connected??
  7. Spaz kicked a couple of nice goals in the simulation.πŸ‘
  8. Yes I noticed that seventy four, effortless.πŸ‘
  9. Thanks GW prices look pretty fair, shame about the timing but hopefully folk will start rolling up soon.πŸ˜πŸ‘ it’s a long way out and back in peak hour conditions.
  10. Why are we worrying about something that may never happen, Judd should be available by round 5-6 with any luck to help with our rise back up the ladder and hopefully we make him an offer that he cannot refuse.πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘
  11. Thanks Ghostwriter we went to the one in Feb’23 and had a great time with our two youngest grandkids the players were so generous with their time but not possible this year. πŸ‘β€οΈ
  12. Ps Ghostwriter who was the Bear for?πŸ‘πŸ˜πŸ’•
  13. Another big thanks to Ghostwriter, WayneWussell, Tony Anderson#11, Travy14, Ditcha, Demonland, Harvey Wallbanger, Startibartfast, all posters and special comments, greatly appreciated.πŸ‘πŸ˜Ž
  14. That 7 point loss to the Pies and that 1 point loss to Blues still burns deep in the guts, I will never forget the utter despair after those two losses but it does make you more resilient and vengeful.πŸ’•

Josh Mahoney will improve the AFL immeasurably.πŸ‘
  16. Not surprised HW they weren’t put back in their place like we have been.πŸ˜ͺ
  17. Probably right dazzle but can’t think of any that were under contract and we wanted to keep,(ANB maybe) Jackson but out of contract.
  18. I can see Wally but where’s Windsor. lol.!!!
  19. Still nothing up on the MFC website with regards to Monday training session coupled with no training reports and where the hell is Windsor??😁😁
  20. No one will ever be better than Max.!!!!!
  21. Dee Boys I’m thinking that our $$$’s have been pretty tight given our AA List after Ed. Gawn, May, Rick, Tracc, JV, Clayton Oliver, Langdon and Kozzie. Schache, Hunter, Dunstan & Fullarton cost us nothing. I think that losing Gus and BBB may have opened the purse strings to make a bid for Houston and we now have to hold onto our rising stars in Rivers, JvR, McVee, Windsor, Tholstrup, Langford, Lindsay, etc.
  22. demons11 no one ever will.😁
  23. Leave it to deever Don’t forget Disco, Fritta and an improving Mathew Jefferson plus Aidan Johnson, Kozzie, Chin, Langford and Tracc. We have options galore not counting our two swing men TMac and Petts. I no longer view our forward line as a weak link I wonder how we fit them all in.😁
  24. Totally agree DeelightfulPlay, sounds like Bright may have been a watershed time where everyone that had a view were encouraged to express it in the rawest of ways. Similar to the end of 2020 and I am so glad that they are continuing on with the game plan that they experimented with last year. Also great to hear the coach open up for us all to hear his inner thoughts and despair last year.πŸ’•πŸ‘
  25. Caleb, Leb, the Duke Windsor was a revelation last year and he hasn’t missed a beat during the preseason, he has shown that he is a huge asset to the team. I loved him on the wing But if the coaching group can see a greater advantage for the team playing him of hbf, I am in favour of that. It is going to be a great watch with Windsor, Langford, Lindsay, Brown, Sharp and eventually Tholstrup representing us this year.πŸ˜πŸ‘
