  1. Thanks Six6six, 2016 definitely saw us on the move, we have a pulse but still being dogged with injuries.
  2. We already know how good Trent Rivers is by the end of 2024 he will be known in the wider AFL community, he is a real beauty.!!
  3. Looks like our team circa 2015 - 2016 a lot of talent and potential thank goodness we already have the stars ready and mostly available. The difference between then and now we can bring them in as they knock the door down.๐Ÿ˜
  4. Windsor certainly looks the goods, definitely future winger or outside mid with pace and skill.
  5. To be honest as a retired member I donโ€™t mind Thursday night football I travel with two of my daughters one of who is a school teacher and the other has two primary school kids and it can be a pain but if itโ€™s a home game we all make it work!!
  6. Thanks Picket great report, sounds like everyone was involved and working very hard during the drills. Surprised you didnโ€™t grab that Time Machine and head back to 1955.!!
  7. Matt Brewer, son of former Dee -Ross Brewer has been appointed Senior Coach of Casey VFLW team for 2024. I didnโ€™t see anything on Demonland so looking for a bit of info on Matt was he ever considered at MFC?
  8. I take it that no one could venture out to Casey Fields today for Monday Training.???
  9. The same goes for young Kynan Brown judging from his Coates League form he could be one from left field and cost us nothing.
  10. I have high hopes for McAdam and Billingโ€™s but they have already proved themselves, Bill is another story will he grasp his opportunities with both hands as all good players do or fade out of the picture. I still expect that it comes down to Woewodin, Bill, Howes and Turner in 2024 but will be watching Sestan, Verrall and Adams with great interest at Casey. There is no rush on Jefferson, Windsor and the Colt but they could surprise.
  11. If memory serves me correctly Petracca racked up 10.3k with his first 30 touches in the Granny but I could be wrong. ๐Ÿ˜
  12. I am really loving this series 6Six6, such a critical time for the Club.
  13. That is so true Ethan.๐Ÿ˜
  14. As much as we have all loved BBB in the past a degenerative knee has no place in the ruck with so many knee clashes prevalent in the game. I am hoping that he kicks a bag at Casey and is ok if and when we need him. I also expect Fullarton to play regular game time and watching Verrall closely as his backup.
  15. Now you are just being argumentative you have your thoughts I have mine and it appears that nair the twain shall meet.!!
  16. Thanks Dazzle36 letโ€™s hope that we get a shot at him in the next draft, Ricky Mentha has a nice ring to it.
  17. That is brilliant Six6six. Love that action photography and as mentioned by Dazzle it really shows the playerโ€™s muscular definition and I am even more buoyant about our kids coming through. I also loved the Easy Beats on the sound track they were a favourite of mine back in the early - mid 60โ€™s, they did a stint up in Mildura I think at the Murray Moon dance hall and a bunch of friends and I got to meet them and have a smoke out the front of the hall with them. We were all very young at the time. Great memories.!!
  18. Thanks WW for reminding us just how good Nibbler really is.
  19. Agree 3165 but he is not one paced, he uses his pace when it is needed he is a 93-96kg bull that knows how to find space and exploit the opposition players. I do not compare him to ANB, Eddie Langdon, Lachie Hunter or even Kozzieโ€™s ability to gut run all day.
  20. I only missed one home game last year and was at both finals as well, did you notice that when Trac comes out of the centre square with ball in hand he is rarely run down, he has pace agility and brute strength. Watch the granny in โ€˜21 they couldnโ€™t lay a glove on him.
  21. That is true Jeremy and that is where Billingโ€™s, Kozzie, Laurie, Woewodin, Salem and Rivers will help maintain the rotations with Trac, JV and Sparrow until Clayton gets back to business.
  22. Confidence is a wonderful thing, we have seen what it can do to a players performance, we have seen how our senior players influence and lift the spirits and performance of our younger players and how that escalates their development. Why is this now going to stop? We have seen Petty, Sparrow, JJ, Kozzie, Rivers, Jacko, Bowey, JVR and McVee rocket up the charts. Now we have Laurie, Woey, Turner, Howes searching for a spot in the side and we are seeing positive signs from AMW, Verrall, Adams and Farris-White, plus we have our new group of Windsor, Tholstrup and Brown finding their feet at the club. On top of that we have bought in McAdam to bolster our Fwd line, Billingโ€™s to add class to our mid/fwd and Fullarton a youngish ruck/fwd to support Max and yet we have supporters that see our demise as a force in the AFL. We canโ€™t fit them all in the side but given our success rate they will be ready when and if we need them. Have some confidence in the club. Plus Oliver Sestan and Marty Hore. Canโ€™t believe I left out Jefferson airplane. We really are loaded arenโ€™t we.
  23. Agree with some comments re Nibbler but as Binman and others have pointed out numerous times he gut runs up and down the ground all game, pressuring, supporting, kicking, marking, hand balling and tackling opponents and sometimes when he gets to the end of his run he is running on empty when he takes that last kick, is it any wonder that some go askew. I now appreciate nibblers role in the team and cut him some slack. I still grimace but understand his dilemma.
  24. Take a look at the latest Trac review on the MFC website, he has pace to burn when needed.!!
  25. Could have been divine intervention by parent or sibling, from my experience they arenโ€™t that smart(but donโ€™t quote me).!!
