  1. Picket did Tommy Sparrow play and if so how did he go?
  2. I meant that figuratively Dazzle36.
  3. What a great way to start the training Report Demonland set the heart beating with the Clayton news and followed up with a comprehensive report, thanks also to Kev Martin, DEESPENCER, WayneWussell and Jontee for great reports, insights and observations. Also thanks to all posters another great Training day.๐Ÿ˜
  4. Thought that myself wwsw the arms folded always trigger that response in me, still we have been on the back foot since seasons end.
  5. Thought that myself wwsw the arms folded always trigger that response in me, still we have been on the back foot since seasons end.
  6. Richo mentioned that this week is a down week for Petty and that they were monitoring his loads closely to see how he progresses. So maybe nothing to be concerned with at this stage but Hunter may not be ready for round zero.
  7. Jeez Stevie J doesnโ€™t even mention us in the top 13, that should stir the hornets nest up, a bit of ammo for the coaches. We have the backs and midfield pretty well covered with sufficient depth to cover for some injuries, however need Clayton back at some stage. What we do need is a bit of luck with our forwards both Fritta and Petty are critical to our structure, JVR will keep getting better. Kozzie, ANB and Spargs have been strengthened by Jack Billingโ€™s and Shane McAdam plus we have Sestan, Fullarton, Jefferson and Verrall building at Casey. When you throw in Woewodin, Laurie, Disco, Howes, Adams, Farris-White the Kolt, the Duke and young Brownie plus Jake Melksham come finals I am thinking top 4 in โ€˜24. I am also expecting several of our youngsters to have breakout seasons this year and will more than cover for the players that we have lost. Go Dees. Like Macca and 58er I am a bit bullish about our chances in 24 - 28 and also very keen to see what McQualter brings to the table.
  8. Thatโ€™s relatively good news on Tom Fullarton dodged a bullet there.๐Ÿ˜
  9. Thanks Joeboy and Picket Fence for the excellent training reports and travelling out to CF and all posters for their comments and observations. Schache is an interesting one, has the height for ruck/fwd, is it possible that Josh has started to click on what he needs to do to keep his AFL career alive? I am also on Will Verrall watch as I am hoping that he is a live one!!
  10. Thanks Joeboy - More please.!!
  11. Thanks Six6Six so good to be able to go back in time and see how we built our Premiership team but apart from Hibbo, Jordan and Hannan slim pickings for 2017.
  12. What a great pickup for the Colts, good luck Michael Hibberd, what a champion player and person.!!
  13. No at Casey Goshโ€™s Wednesday.
  14. Jacko, Kozzie and Riv all played year 1, so I wonโ€™t be surprised if the Duke and the Kolt get games early in their careers.๐Ÿ˜
  15. I just posted on the BBB thread but this is probably more relevant, Benny Brown should go on the long term injury list and bring in the best ruck/fwd available. Would ease the pressure and use BB as a fwd coach.
  16. Might be an opportunity to place Ben on the long term injury list and pick up the best ruck/fwd running around in the VFL/ SANFL/WAFL.
  17. From all training reports Jake is ready to go for โ€˜24 he has the speed and skills to play in a multitude of roles, I am sure we will maximise his abilities.!!
  18. We attended the family day out at Casey fields last year and had a great day and it was well attended, should be huge with the Tiges supporters there as well.!!
  19. So Verrall, Schache and Farris-White are now Maxโ€™s backup and support, hopefully Fullarton will be ready in a couple of months??
  20. A big thanks to all reporters, special comments and posters a great cross section of DL. Also great that so many supporters turned up to watch the boys on Australia Day PH and of course Demonland for compilation of al reports got to read through them again when we finally arrived home last night, we had a great day out.
  21. Happy Australia Day to all Demonlanders big family get together.today but will keep my eye out for any Training Reports that might sneak through.๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บโœ…๐Ÿ˜
  22. That would be a good outcome a bit like Jake Melksham from all the reports he is doing some serious coaching from the sidelines.
  23. I feel sorry for BBB that he had to have surgery and now another lengthy rehab but I wasnโ€™t counting on Benny playing any role for us at AFL level this year. Would have been good for him to kick a bag for Casey and help develop Jefferson and maybe just maybe get fit enough to help cover for injuries.
  24. Donโ€™t forget Will Verrall he was highly rated as a ruck/fwd in his junior years, he had a significant pelvis injury early last year but is now starting to show a bit. Listed at 199cm Will is same height as Tom Fullarton and Josh Schache, so we potentially have three players that can provide 2nd ruck / fwd relief for the side whilst KFW at 206cm continues to develop at Casey. If they all stay fit Casey will benefit from our ruck strength in 2024 and beyond.
  25. Well that has been an enjoyable and fun read, so many to thank but here goes - thanks Demonland, DeeSpencer, WayneWussell, Startibart, Deespicable, Nascent, Scoop Junior and all posters, all great reports and excellent comments. Felt like I was there and in very hot conditions to boot.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
