Welcome to Demonland: Tom Fullarton
Thanks Demonland great pick up, Tom sounds like a great get for us, humble but keen and determined to play AFL was prepared to move anywhere to get an opportunity I hope we put the finishing touches on Tom and give him regular game time, we are crying out for a two metre player with athleticism and great agility.!!

The Trent Rivers appreciation thread
Trent Rivers is one of those players who really grows on you, he just keeps getting better. The coaches havenβt put a ceiling on him and neither should we, top 10 this year. Tough, fast, disciplined courageous, skilful, a lot of love in the team for and from Riv. I love him off the halfback line, rarely beaten and a critical link player for us. Someone mentioned Future All Australian and I tend to agree.!!

The Trent Rivers appreciation thread
Jake is 5β9β, Judd is 6β1β and Riv is 6β2β, so Riv is a good medium size player same size at Fritsch.

Goody Saves a Life in Bali
Possibly donβt jump off a cliff into the sea unless SG is within rescue distance??

Farewell Kye Turner
Thanks Kye Turner, looked a promising athletic young back up defender but has had a cruel run with injury. Good luck in the future young man.

Harrison Petty
True JimmyG but as previously pointed out Harrison doesnβt come from Adelaide his family live a days drive north of Adelaide. Harrisonβs manager would have been made aware of Adelaideβs interest and the size of the bounty.

The 2023 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
Even though I know that my thoughts are irrelevant in the overall scheme of things I am stressing about handing OβSullivan / Caddy to the opposition knowing that they could have been ours.lol.!!!

What's needed in 2024
When the coaching team are back on deck I imagine there will be a bit of a competitive edge to the group with the inclusion of Andrew McQualter. The playing group will also be a bit shaken by what has occurred at the club over the break and the injection of 6 new players, half of whom are senior will also shake the group up. This is a perfect environment to drive some critical changes within the group and get them refocused on the ultimate goal, continued success and a Premiership on our home ground at the G in front of 100,000 people.

Best 23 for every club
That is super impressive WERRIDEE, I couldnβt name any team other than Dees. A lot of research there.πππ

Jack Ginnivan
As much as he annoys me, I feel for the kid, a bit of a cult figure with pies fans, wins a premiership medal and then squeezed out the door to accomodate Shultz. AFL footy is tough and dirty.

Welcome to Demonland: Jack Billings
A lot of Dlanders were on the Jack Billingβs bandwagon early π I wasnβt aware of our interest until late today. Looks like another good pickup., certainly helps cover some of our depth concerns, hope he is as fit and firing as his manager suggests. Welcome to the MFC Jack Billings I hope you get a clear run at it at the Dees we could certainly use more skills in front of the ball, look forward to seeing you out on the G next year.

Welcome to Demonland: Tom Fullarton
Not me TR-A I am looking forward to Tom being given the opportunity to provide a chop out for Max and spending a lot of time in our fwd 50 and rotating off the bench to provide some height, pace and goal kicking ability that we are currently lacking. We actually need to harness his 2023 VFL form (which is better than any of our youngsters coming through) and transition him into an AFL player. Good luck Tom Fullarton you need to find a way.

Welcome to Demonland: Shane McAdam
Welcome to the MFC Shane McAdam, thanks for choosing us and for your patience during the drawn out negotiation period. Very happy that you have come onboard we are really lacking fwd 50 fire power and I believe you have the potential to make a big difference at the Deeβs. Good luck, stay healthy and have a great time at our mighty club.

Trade Rumours 2023
Pick 6 & 11 will help replace the quality we have lost, Fullarton adds ruck/fwd potential / depth, McAdam eases the loss of Jake, Kynan Brown 1/2 fwd,1/2 back quality depth plus a couple of rookies. Plus we need and expect a couple of - Turner, Laurie, Howes, Woewodin, AMW, Adamβs, Verall, Jefferson to step up and show a bit during 2024. We have retained our best 22 with some doubts around two of our top 5 players, we have also released salary cap pressure and will further improve this aspect at the end of 2024, which will allow us to recruit and lock down players we want to keep. Not sure who will take on the Michael Hibberd role maybe Disco, playing tall and small as McVee and Riv are required across HF line it will be a very interesting year, we will have injuries no doubt as all clubs do. Looking forward to seeing how Andrew McQualter tweaks our game plan and forward connection, he is a great get. Now just looking forward to the Draft and Rookie draft to inject some quality and depth back into the list.

Welcome to Demonland: Caleb Windsor
We seem to have given away a lot of draft options to help GCS get their full share of Academy players, I feel we got slim pickings in return.!!
