  1. Thanks Kev agree with Salems Lot felt like I was there great reporting on fairly miserable morning.!!
  2. Some great names there Demonland Jonesy and Clarry four a piece shows their greatness with Clarry still well and truely in the race.!!
  3. Yes LITD I looked up AFL stats and they list Neita at 191cm same as Footy Wire however having talked to him at a number of family days he looked taller. Imagine if JVR can emulate Neita his contested marking was huge. 😁
  4. Too bad it wasn’t Darcy Fogarty and pick 14 we just may have jumped at it. I’m still hopeful that Petty will stay, we don’t have to trade him until the end of ‘25 unless the offer is too good to turn down. He’s a Premiership backman 197cm a good mark and kick who loves body contact and can go forward and kick a goal or six. Be patient let Harrison find his fitness and form he will come good (barring injury) and straighten us up in the forward line. It is a long long season.!!
  5. The more I see and hear from this young man the more I like, leadership aspirations as a just turned 21 year old is a great sign I believe he will make a lot of people eat their words in the not to distant future.😁
  6. Thanks Andy, Binman and George_On_The_Outer another great listen although I didn’t quite get through to the end of the Pod. Great questions from posters and great explanations, responses from you all.
  7. Thanks red and blue forever great signing by the club. ps( how do I open the spreadsheet to see 2027 and beyond)😁😁
  8. Thought the same thing LT thoughtful, articulate and well spoken, he has a lot of layers. I also hope that he gets a good run at this year as I suspect that he is the real deal.
  9. Bluey I find this quaint, at 194cm he is identical height to Curnow All Australian Forward, 2cm taller than David Neitz and 1 cm shorter than Szwartta, 2cm shorter than Jeff White. 6’41/2”. He’s no Gorilla McKay 6’7” , Cameron & Lynch 6’6”. He is the same height at Tex Walker and Darcy Fogarty.😁 both very good forwards, why do we feel obliged to downsize ours.
  10. Thanks JvR, TL and JT that is great news for Jacob and MFC I am really loving this club, well done Rooey.❤️💙
  11. Thanks KC, Demonland, Nascent, DD and all posters I didn’t get to watch the game so enjoyed the psts particularly the fight back and judging from stats our Casey boys really put in big time. Great result for the club.
  12. Not much love for Tom Fullarton, 21 touches, 4 marks, 7 hit outs and kicked 2.4 racked up 102 dream points and named in Casey’s Best but hasn’t garnered a mention? Will Verral is starting to show the class of football that his former coaches said that he was capable of, he is an exciting prospect for the future. As it stands we need Tom and Will to both keep improving and hopefully force their way into the side or be ready when needed. Sounds like Disco came back with a bang, Ollie stepped up along with Bill, Pup and Lachie Hunter. A great win considering we were 26 points down at one stage.
  13. Thanks DD some big variations for a number of key personal and that game didn’t help to many players stats. So glad that they have operated on Clarry’s finger, hope they hold him back to give it a chance to recover, agree with Petty he is so out of form it isn’t funny, get Fullarton into the team he could not perform any worse than Benny or Harry.!!
  14. I know this is only a moot point 3165 but did you say 2nd chance, Ben has had numerous chances, I hope it works out for him though but no where near Dees.
  15. Jeez the pressure factor was so out of whack for us and then DD our player ratings down 20% on our 2023 average is dreadful. Our six best players can hold their heads up but the Lions had seven of the top ten players out on the ground, we looked fatigue’d right from the get go, also as you mentioned previously need to get Clayton’s hand right before he does any more damage. It was very hard to watch that game last night and a quiet drive home.
  16. Perfect conditions, reasonable home crowd, two of the worst umpires that I can remember and our team looked slow and unable to match the Lions pace and short game for three quarters. Despite having a dominant Max Gawn, our mids ran out of gas and the Lions had six of the top seven players on the ground and that lack of balance enabled them to slice us up in a very cool and deliberate manner aided and abetted by a couple of adjudicators that do not understand the rules of the game. However I will also take the 4 wins and two losses a 13 day break and see how the boys respond against the Tigers on Anzac Eve, I love our Anzac Eve guernsey’s.
  17. 6 - Max by a country mile. 5 - Trent Rivers 4 - Tom McDonals 3 - Kade Chandler 2 - Jake Lever 1 - Steven May our midfield was the poorest that I can remember for some time, they all need a spell.
  18. In front of the home crowd - very poor effort.
  19. Not to worry WCW Hermannsburg has some historical significance it was set up by a Dutch religious group and had involvement in teaching and training indigenous children also for recording and translating indigenous words and places as the aboriginal people have 100’s of different dialects but no written language. So their work is quite significant.😁
  20. Wahooo we have all been anticipating the launch of the Kolt, so glad it is at the G tomorrow night so we can witness him Debut. Congratulations young man enjoy your first game with the Dees. Go the Esperance Kolt, how happy was Jack Viney.!!
  21. True ElDiablo 14, Jim was a unique and unifying giant of a man who held us together until Peter Jackson, Paul Roos and eventually Simon Goodwin and the team they built put it all together for us.
  22. Hi George OTO the latest number has been posted on Membership page. 56,756 so we are level pegging with 2022 numbers. Also interesting that during our horror stretch 2007 - 2014 our Membership actually increased from 27k to 36k so a lot of us stayed true when it was very hard to do so.😁
  23. Thanks Andy, Bin & George OTO and all posters / callers another great listen, all questions full and entertainingly answered with extra great insights thrown in. Very relaxed and upbeat and why not, the team performed magnificently. Apart from round zero the team is playing so well, I am enjoying watching them perform but can’t quite work out what the change in game plan is, we seem to be able to switch it up against every team.
