I wholeheartedly agree with all above and I am eternally grateful that I live in A country where the majority of people are fair and decent. My heart goes out to all our indigenous peoples and new arrivals that are racially vilified, we have come a long way since I was a kid in the country in the 50’s and 60’s. But we still have a long long way to go. It is very hard to fully understand the hurt and anguish that racial slurs cause as we have never had to endure them but if you watched 360 last night and watched the pain and anguish that the Blues super star Eddie Betts showed it was heart wrenching. We have the power to make significant change if we are all just a bit braver and coach our children, grand children, friends snd colleagues to be more tolerant, caring and inclusive in this great society that we have all helped build.

That was a most unusual 5 quarters of footy that I have ever witnessed, we were all over them in the 4th but the Magoos got them off to a flyer in the 5th after stopping the game for 30 minutes (what a bizarre joke). Our third quarter was fantastic and it was really great to see our lesser lights play so well all game. Milkshake was a great inclusion, Alex was brilliant in his 100th we stood up all over the ground, Bowey is all class and we beat the Eagles, the Umps and the Boo Hoo supporters over there in totally hostile conditions. Brave effort DEES.!!!!!!

Thanks Dazzle for posting that video you can see why Taylor and Lamb were so strong on Jake for pick 21, fast, clean and great decision maker who just loves their footy. He looks so damn confident and they made him earn his spot at VFL level, we have a lot to look forward to. Top effort Jake Bowey.!!!!!

I am feeling a bit ambivalent about this game just so much to gain with a win and we run into a torrential downpour 3000 km from home. I know that we can win in the rain but it dulls our edge and provides opportunity for more dodgy free kicks. We can and should win this with just a bit of luck and a Lot of pressure, pressure, pressure hard work and extremely strong team work. Dee’s by 17 points. Come on Dees you can do this.!!!!!!!!!

Shane Woewodin was really burnt by Neale and he has only recently buried the hatchet, one of my daughters took out a Pies membership in 2003 in protest. We were all hurt by that stupid decision it reflected so poorly on our Football Club and would have effected our players as well as us supporters. A good interview with Shane he loved the Time he had at the Dees and would have liked to play 200 games with us for life membership. We have come a long way since then. He should have been given a life membership for winning the Brownlow and our Best and Fairest in 2000.

Great effort from GWS, just shows kick straight make the most of your opportunities and you can overcome a top side on their own turf. Hmnnnn, very similar to our loss.!!!!! There are some great Learnings for our boys from those two games.!!!

I remember when Shane came to the club he was a tough half back flanker who worked his but off and flourished under Danners. Taj could be of the same ilk and we may be able to make up a lot for what we did to Shane. 💕

Finally we get a full size training ground for the men’s and women’s training programs and judging from the cost involved it is much more than just moving the fence. There were a lot of head honchos involved including a Govt Minister, head of AFL and our CEO and President. I would have liked a bit more detail but happy to wait on what our Board have to say. We are on the rise and need to show a “Steely” calm that is more befitting of a Club on the rise. Go DEES. !!!!!

That was the win that we had to have, pressure was ginormous, ball movement was back to our team first best, no passengers a few errors but you couldn’t fault their endeavours, stress free watching, all is good with the footy world again, despite the weird happenings yesterday, the boys came through for us. Can’t complain about that.?? well done Dee’s and AFL.??
