What about Melksham?

The Pies supporters love a drubbing, the reason they didn't turn up was because of the atrocious weather conditions, not sure why we didn't turn up? although plenty of snow on the peaks, conditions may have contributed to our poor display of skills particularly our set shot -shots on goal where we kicked 5.7 to their 5.2. so we had ample opportunities to actually win the game but just not up to it on the day. After watching several other games over the weekend I found the skills of all teams in those conditions were hideously deplorable, missed targets missed kicks, poor handballs, fumbles, dropped easy marks, balls slewing off boots, etc. Sidebottom is one player that handles all conditions with aplomb, we need a Sidebottom type in our side. Unfortunately they are few and far between, always finds the ball and space to move in, we do not have one player of his calibre.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Collingwood VFL v Casey Demons - Round 19
DeeZone replied to KC from Casey's topic in Melbourne Demons
Which way?? -
I thought that we broke even on the night, Tiges were very quiet until the third quarter, mind you we sit in an all Dee's area and the Jag was up for grabs.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Would be great to get to 70k over the next 5 years.!!!!!!!!
-
Thanks Brendan, I for one feel confidant that we are a much better club for having your services over the past five years, so Dee's Onwards and Upwards, in the long term the Team will show the Doubters that we are not just a Flash in the Pan....................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went along with other family members to try and win a Jag but really enjoyed the first half of footy only three points in it at half time despite some very poor none decisions by umpires who have no feel for the game and I am getting more uncertain whether they know the rules or maybe I have just lost the plot. Once the rain came the Tiges played some great wet weather footy in the third and iced the game. Thought our boys fought hard all night but so many disposals just off the mark or kicked with to much hang time making it easy for them to spoil. We now have a really good core of players and I thought that Petty, Dunkley, JKH, Corey W and Oskar B also showed a bit (Dunkley can kick), add Marty Hore and Lockhart to that list and we have found a few this year. Just need to get our big guns back next year.

Hang in there KC but very tough when players not listed as injured aren't fronting up for Casey, not that we don't need the match fitness, etc....................??

Yeah, Nah.............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with a lot of what has been mentioned on here But I believe that we lost it at the Selection Table, if we had put in Baker, Corey Wagner, JKH and Maynard in Lieu of Hannam, Neville, Dunkley and ANB it could have been a much different result....................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Thanks KC how did we get so close. Look forward to your summation. I missed the last quarter.!!!!!

As for the Umpires it appears that if the crowd don't call for it they appear oblivious to what should happen. Looked OK until half time then went pear shaped. Do they Really Know the Rules?????????????????????????????

He wasn't the only one what the hell is wrong with Gus he is right off the boil at the moment get him off that sugar free diet it has effected his stamina and decision making processes...........GGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
-
we need a mini re-build to bolster the team, we almost have the Back line covered and gave up a lot to get it done, we need a fast outside mid that can pick out a team mate also another inside mid with a bit of size and last but not least a tall marking forward and another crumbing forward that knows where the big sticks are. No doubt losing a top forward in Hogan has really de-railed a critical component in our re-build.

I agree dee-tox instead of handballing into the ground at the feet of our team mates we need someone that is prepared to run with the ball and hit up targets, it was so bad I was wondering how are they going to mess this up when we were totally in the clear and yet we still stuffed it up.......................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Casey Demons v Box Hill Hawks - Round 13
DeeZone replied to KC from Casey's topic in Melbourne Demons
Thanks KC, DJ and all posters, our depth is starting to re-build and that will continue to put pressure on all players to perform or else. Really good result for the Boy's and our new coach as well.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
