  1. A must win for our Dee's, as already mentioned we really need to nail all our wins at the Gee, we don't want to be 6/5 at the half way mark I am expecting 7/4 or 8/3. let's hope that we can all get to the ground and cheer them on, I am hanging out to sing that song..!!!
  2. Sorry Pollyanna I was thinking more their style rather than height but nice to know he has him covered by 6 cm or almost 2 1/2 inches in my world.

Has anyone heard from KC from Casey or for that matter Saty???
  4. The more I see of Fraser the more I think Isaac Smith.!!!! But no pressure kid. PS( How confidant and Cool are Bowey, Laurie & Rosman and only 18 YO)
  5. Thanks LG great summation of area's of concern, we do have Tomlinson who looked at home in the backline and a proven CHB in TMac and I also lean towards Petty as our tall full back insurance, barring further injury. Nev Jetta is a different kettle of fish, I like Lockhart and desperately want him to succeed, Chandler is training as a small back, I like Marty Hore in the side and maybe Jordan, Sparrow or Nieta can rotate through the back line until one stands out for us.

Those numbers indicate that 5 teams are vying for the last spot whereas we are vying for the 1st spot.........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Does the yellow strip help the players to hold the ball correctly ????
  8. Bewick was a pretty handy footballer ??
  9. Yes that’s the one - ?.
  10. I sometimes wonder whether Big Business are using Smart Phones to dumb us all down so we will fit in with the Clock Work Orange world scenario......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Let's see how the list respond to the combined might of our coaching group, with OOze and Williams joining the group there may be some real surprises that leap out of the pack in 2021. I really liked Richo's comments "that when players get used to getting a game and gradually improving to a consistently high level, they then start to Want Team success and want to be up on the Dias getting their Premiership Medals, etc", or words to that effect. Richo indicated that he considered that the Team have reached that level of desire/hunger?? so who knows which players will kick on and which players get found short, only time will tell.
  12. wow that was short and sweet.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Welcome Bailey laurie, fast evasive and can really kick the ball, boy have we been looking for you, what a pick up. I think that the smile said it all. Well done JT and team three pearlers that fill the gaps that we had on the list. Two Baileys on the list and hopefully we will see them run out together some time in the near future.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Harvey would be great FND but he also reminds me of that red head from Bombers who used to haunt us (his surname eludes me??). Ha ha.!!
  14. Welcome aboard Jake - your families reaction gave me goose bumps even got the dogs involved. It will be great to have a pacey player with an excellent kick and tons of courage in the Red & Blue, I can see you running around the Gee in 2021.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Welcome aboard Fraser Rosman I have a really good feeling about you and your potential impact on the team, listen to the coaching staff Mark Williams in particular and you could be that critical missing link that we have all been crying out for.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. He had me at Yes...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. Couldn't agree more Purple 77, you summed him up much better than I could. I will miss having him in charge of our football department and I am really sorry that he will help EFC get their act back together. GGGrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. Wow I am having trouble getting my head around this, we are on the move, what a great appointment. Thank you Mark Williams and MFC - Wahooo I really loved his work at Port and Tiges, move aside here we come.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. Where is Saty?????????

I like him to DS56 I think that he will cement a spot for himself in the best 22 even if it is off the bench, you need a lot of good players going through the middle to maintain that hunger and fitness and Tom Sparrow looks the goods.!!!!!

Werridee I agree with the first 23 players just differ on their ranking although I like the make up of your team.
  22. I am glad that James and Aaron agreed to be moved across to the Rookie List for 2021, strengthens our draft position and gives these youngsters a good crack at coming off injury and representing us at Casey and hopefully at MFC later in 2021. Well done James Jordon & Aaron Nietschke and MFC.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  23. Well TMac is still a Dee and I still have some reservations for him going into 2021 but I am wishing him all the best for his future at the Dee's and I am hoping like mad that Tom can get back to his great 2018 form playing forward or back. Good luck Tom.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  24. Welcome to the Demons Mark, we already have a number of good young players on our list and will have another 4-6 depending on who Taylor and Co pick up in this years Draft, we are going to need at least 6 young guns to step up in 2021 to help our older brigade out. So I and a lot of others here on Demonland will be watching their progress with much anticipation. No Pressure But..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  25. Neale really is an inspiration after reading his Book i have realized that he and his family have lived life to the max, making friends and strong contributions where ever he has found himself at the different stages of his life. I would have liked a bit more perspective on the 2000 Granny but apart from that a great read. I love the fact that most of his ex-players still feel a strong connection and bond with him, that really speaks volumes for the great man. He deserves the Australian of the Year Award.!!!!.
