I have always respected Mark Williams as a coach I liked his antics at Port and the way they played the Team game, Port players could all take a good mark and their kicking was above average. They were tough and very successful and deserved the ultimate success under Williams. He sounds rejuvenated we as a club and team will be much better under his influence and our kids will get better quicker with Mark Williams showing them the way. A great choice MFC.!!!!!

I love Hunt and what he brings to the club, watching him, Langdon & Kozzie streaming down the wing was a sight to behold and at 26 has years ahead of him, he looks fitter, tougher and more composed. Good on you Jayden Hunt .!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations Kate I hope that you are successful in the role and that you have broad shoulders, if you are as good as or better than Glen I will be very happy. You certainly have the CD and experience now lead us to the promised land and our new permanent home, no pressure. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought that we outplayed them and should have won by more, they have a lot of talent, particularly Toby G, his five goals made them look better, it was certainly a tough game at times and also a fast moving and exciting game to watch as well, I never felt that we would lose. Max dominated and Kozzie thrilled, whilst Fritsch was also so important in the forward line. All in all a great team game. We have made some changes to our game plan and the players have really bought in. Very proud of the Boys tonight. Go Dee’s.!!!!!

We are in a good place and everyone chipped in when it was their turn, GWS got away with a lot of holding and crude tackles which caused them more pain than us.!!!

What an absolute Gunn is Kozzie he gets us on our feet and excited, he puts fear into the oppo backs.!!!!

We are a far better side with Fritsch in than we are with Fritsch out, one of the best mid size marks in the game, just enjoy the kids endeavour and talent. A lot of other teams would love him in their colours, he is no whipping boy.!!!!!!!!

I loved the game watching from home unfortunately but noticed that the Team is really starting to jell and do what a good team does, work, work work and look out for each other. We were able to wrestle back the lead and slow them down at will, if only we had of converted even 50% of our opportunities it could have been a percentage booster, still in my mind a great win as I am always nervous with the Saints at Marvel Stadium. JJ was really good again he is hard at and continually hits targets, I thought that all our kids contributed well last night and our bottom 6 contributed way more than theirs, shame we kicked so woefully could have been a percentage booster, but a win is a win. If you are going to make a change it has to be someone who is match fit , Saints are fit and tough, Viney maybe to replace Sparrow but who would Chandler replace?

Just me but I watched the game closely at the G and then replay this morning, I thought that we played the game that was needed to blunt and then get on top of the dockers, to say they are depleted is not taking into consideration our outs. I thought our team work was at times exceptional and we had to work hard for some of our goals but work hard we did, kicking 2.6 in the last took some of the shine off our score line, particularly when some were very gettable. A win is a win.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with you SWYL getting tickets is absurd and then as a Premium Member end up at the opposite end of the ground behind the Dockers cheer squad and surrounded by Dockers supporters ( who were pretty friendly bunch) did not enthuse myself or my two daughters, as one of the attractions of paying premium memberships is to sit with Demon supporters in familiar surrounds, what the hell is going on.

Congratulations James Jordon, I, like many on here look forward to watching you out on the Gee tomorrow afternoon (Yayyy), what we really need at the Dee's is to continually improve our bottom 8 players as that has been the anchor holding us back, so James play your role and be one of those players that make us a better Team. The Key ingredient that Mark Williams brings in spades is "Belief", he makes players believe that they are better than they think they are, we now have enough talent to go around, what we have lacked is cohesion and belief, fix one and you have the other. He makes you feel like running out and kicking a goal.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would feel happier to review this after a couple of years time when we get to see the full benefit of May & Lever together with some continuity as the team hit's their straps, no doubt these two make us a much better side but we need a number of players to lift to their level for us to get the max out of them both.
