We got beaten by a better side on the day, three of our talls were injured we had a small forward as medi sub, Mitch Brown was very poor, BB and Fritta couldn’t get near it and we had half a dozen players that are off the boil. We left to much to to few and they really stood up.!!!!

Great response from our leader he talks the talk and walks the walk. So respectful to the club and playing group he will use this incident to reaffirm the team first culture that took us to the top. Such a shame that we had to redirect the news hounds back to MND and The QB Match, what has Happened to our press seems to have been a real drop off in IQ???

Agree Jontee Turner & van Rooyen were a good start but need to build to replace BB, MB, TMac, SM, Thommo and eventually Max. Ha ha that is quite a tall order. We will probably have to continue to pick up a few discarded talls along the way.!!!!

We knew that it would come back and bite us on the bum, we were poor in front of goal last year and our inaccuracy has continued and is now affecting our ability to kick a decent score or open up a decent break against lower teams. It has affected ANB, BBB & Traccs potency as a forward. Mark Williams come on down from the DNA to smarten this group of wasters up !!!

That side look good on paper hopefully not much changes between now and Saturday.!!!

I know where you are coming from BoBo we used to have a couple of characters that used to sit to the right of us one was a mini cheer squad on his own but encouraged everyone around him to join in the fun, we had a ball in 2018 particularly once we got a sniff of what was happening. Prior to that there was an old guy who was covered in player badges and he never stopped yelling from start to finish and whenever the umps missed a free he would shout out “Break a Leg Umpire”. With the break caused by Covid there are a lot of people missing and we seemed to have lost that connection with the playing group, sad really!!!

I believe that this situation is inexcusable having teammates squabbling and striking each other in public when we are on the second biggest mission in their lives to date. Particularly two senior players who should have more sense, having said that I thought that Steven Mays apology and acceptance of the one week ban was made with humility and acceptance that it was a serious disruption to the team, Stevens has promised to workharder to help the team over the next 10 - 12 weeks. He knows he has let his teammates and us supporters down. Let’s judge his response over the remainder of the year.!!

But it has to go to Special players. Ie: as a reward for being - hard, tough, silky with great leadership skills. It will be hard to win.!!!
