  1. Brown, Mihocek and Jackson/Weid.. with a combo of Kosi and Spargo/Hunt crumbing..?
  2. i'm anticipating around 8 retirements ?
  3. the difference is i don't think we have heard rumours on our players.. apart from hogan, am i forgetting anyone? or maybe thats just cos we didnt have players of the level to be targeted?
  4. as they should be! maybe they finalised that they should be playing finals this year.. could also be that they realise that they won't go far with the current set-up and that time is wasting away..
  5. NO ONE should be offered 5 years.. unless its trac ?
  6. admittedly i was a few beers in.. but i feel like i was trying to focus on his output.. oh well, who knows. i'm not against getting saad by any means, but just don't want to sign another player with average skills, if he's got em, great
  7. didn’t seem to do much yesterday but bomb it long/up?
  8. to me, its just the odd times he does those dinky kicks.. he's tough, brave, by and large elite by foot and a great teammate who seems to gel with everyone else. great game today. i agree. bog today.
  9. [censored] it. he's got speed, other teams will need to worry about him and he can kick barrels. sure. ...but he does seem like a right [censored]
  10. he fills a need and needs to feel wanted by the club to stick around.. not 3 years though. 2 is a compromise. we offer him 1, he leaves then we have to get some delisted chump from adelaide.. get my drift?
  11. sign him. only 2 year deals though moving forward.. if he gets a better offer all the best to him. tough and kicks goals. a little inconsistent but we need those role player types.
  12. love him. be absolutely stoked if we got him.. straight shooter and tough. don't think the pies will wanna get rid of him though.
  13. i still love our first one? the one that was referring to the yarra?.. that was really cool. i think from 2016 or so.. but this one is a close second.
  14. i'll get shot down but don't care. way unnecessary from the media dept.. clearly just to show they are doing something or what? who signs off on this [censored]? bartlett was badmouthing the team ten days before and then this.. we lose tomorrow night (and god forbid next week) and this thread comes up like fire. of course i want my team to win and to see good quality behind the scenes [censored], but jesus... the teams we beat are nudda. keep winning dees. at this stage we are still in the 64th pit of hell.
  15. no [censored]! his protection isn't working. something stinks. if its not his job to talk about why one of our key players is playing dramatically reduced minutes, then why even bother attending press conferences?!
  16. mate. its your job to talk about it.. just be honest! then you won't have to talk about it anymore.
  17. i feel like the guys could've got around him waaaaay more than they did after that goal.. bit disappointing, but seems to be a thing that MFC isn't really great at (apart from the harley love-in last weekend).
  18. we don't win without weid.. also, as someone that hates to watch o-mac trot around half-assed normally. that was one of his most physical games. it was really good. if he can play to that level consistently, he can stay. still need more tackles from players. brayshaw a real worry. weid NEEDS to play rest of the season.
  19. he's gone from my fave player to a fella that just laughs having wacky haircuts.. clearly needs a change of scenery. its not working out at mfc ? would definitely give him up with a second rounder for a decent first/mid with footskills.
  20. exactly. i didn't see him solving any of the issues that we have now (and had when he was still around) so easily.. hmm.
  21. I was at the game when Rance did that to Watts.. could've ripped his head off. such a [censored]
  22. agree. not a huge fan of T-Mac, but he tried his guts out today and contested as much as he could. despite *insert the dreaded inside 50/'connection' reference here* hibberd also tried really hard and the kid rivers was just unlucky a few times. still think he plays next week and happy to have them both in the backline as long as hibberd plays to the standard that he did today. rivers just needs to thicken up a bit. got pushed off the ball for an easy cats mark (guthrie?) in the goalsquare.
