The Shannon Byrnes one was a disaster. Struggled in his last 2 years at Geelong with for and injury and then we signed him to a two year deal. Cam Pedersen played 2 games in 2012 because he strugged to break into the team. Tom Gillies played 5 games in 2012 because he struggled to break into the team. David Rodan played 10 games in 2012 because he struggled to break into the team and injury was catching up to him. The players we are chasing is: H Lumamaba played 21 games this year and was playing some good consistent footy this year. Still has a good 4 years ahead of him. Very very durable. Daniel Merrett played 19 games this year between full back and forward line role, again been pretty durable last couple of years only suspension been the problem for him. . Still can offer us probably 3 years to help the load on Hogan and McDonald. Sam Frost played 16 games this year and is a big key position player who can play forward and back. Still pretty young only 20 years old and a lot of years ahead of him. The trend is back in Neeld days we brought in blokes who were finished and struggling to break into their respective sides and it showed when they came to us, they were just ordinary footballers full stop. Rossy is bring in blokes who are already in the best 22 and playing good footy still. all three will make big impacts for us still.

Think its time to bring this up. I tweeted Paige Cardona about Angus Brayshaw and Paul Roos being interested. She tweeted me back saying that every Sandy game she went to Roosy was in the huddle breaks talking to Brayshaw. I reckon its an interesting insight and I'm a massive fan of Brayshaw. Tough inside midfield with good skill on both sides of his body.

Absolute rubbishI know for a fact being good friends with a Collingwood player the guys absolutely love H. They respect his views in life and is a genuine leader with the players especially the young ones as he does alot of off field work with them. He is also a pretty intense trainer and professional in his recovery. Players will be absolutely devastated that H is leaving and this will be a big win for us. Our player will come to love him and respect him. Also massive respect for H to choose us over north. Could of went to a club that was a game away from a grand final yet he chose a club thats been the bottom 4 for the last 8 years. I have more respect for him the Mitch Clark and Tom Scully.

Clark hasn't impacted a game for 3 years.3 years is a long time. I cannot see his body holing up. I can see alot of plugger Lockett scenario here. Absolutely spud it up when he comes out of retirement. I will bet my testicles Clark will never make the impact he did back in 2012.
