  1. [censored] OP is caused my high acute stress pressure on his groin. Which he would have felt a sharp twinge. Joel comes and complains of sharp pains in his groins, club then sends him back out and the pain worsens as the day goes on. That's where the OP would have started. Don't give me the whole going back on the ground did nothing [censored]. It worsened because he was sent back out.
  2. If I was Joel I'd either sue the club or seek a trade.. Just disgusting how that he now misses a year because we decided to leave him on the ground of a meaningless practise game due to no rotations. Yet none of Goodwin or Mission have taken no responsible at all when quizzed about this. Pissweak
  3. Holy [censored].. something I actually agree with on you for once ?
  4. Me too. Lets get some quality games into Petty.
  5. Maybe wait till the end of the year to make this thread? ?
  6. Last I looked they are sitting 7th. Not guaranteed to make finals just yet. If they miss out again then his head could potentially fall. You've fired shots way too early on this MB..
  7. Can you post the link mate??
  8. From what I read from Josh Mahoney, Hibberd has to get through this week's training and he'll play. Replace Hibberd with Lewis and I agree with your selections.
  9. Last year the draft wasn't that deep. After around the pick 25 it completely dropped off the cliff in my opinion. This year its hard to get a take on the depth and talent. If you are looking for KP forwards or a ruckman then this is not the draft for you. There will be genuine talent in the top 20 this year. For me if be keeping a close eye on Lachie Ash, Hayden Young and Dylan Williams.
  10. Keeps playing like that and he will. Really wrapped for his performance from the weekend. Always been a fan ever since I started watching him closely back in 2016. Just has had rotten luck with no consistency. Keep at it Bull!
  11. Yes i have. If you actually knew the draft well enough you would know it's actually not packed with inside mids but more so half forwards/ half backs who have the ability to push up and play on the outside The top 10 will include the like of Lachie Ash, Caleb Serong, Hayden Young, Sam Flanders, Dylan Williams and Dylan Stephens. These guys all have a set of class and x factor.
  12. Agree, in fact in my opinion He is not even a need. Quick outside mids and tall forwards should be high on our list.
  13. If he hasn't been able to build his body over the past 5 years, what's 3 weeks going to do all of a sudden? Bit confused by this but anyhow, each to their own. Ps: why start another Oscar thread? Couldn't just chuck this in the other thread thats active?
  14. Wagner is also too slow.. Struggled to keep up with Andrew Brayshaw when he got the goal. Cameron would eat him alive.
  15. Did he actually say we were going after a key forward?? Not sure i actually heard that bit...?
  16. He was incredibly close GT.. if we had one more pick we would have selected Lockhart. He came back to Casey's day 1 of pre season in absolute elite condition to the point where it was now too good to refuse and he basically selected himself. Dont underestimate how incredibly hard Lockhart has worked over the past 18 months. He is the type of player you want around your footy club in terms of setting the standards on the training track but also culture wise because of how resilient he is.
  17. I think you will be a disappointed man come end of the year if your pinning your hopes on that outcome MB. Yes we need more forward options but just can't see us landing a Ben Brown type. Unfortunately we missed an opportunity with Finlayson when he was shopped around for peanuts last year.
  18. I reckon they will drop Hannan. 7 disposals and 0 tackles as a half forward is not a good look. Wagner or JKH comes in for him. Hannan needs to go back and get his hands on the ball and start providing that manic tackling pressure he is known for.
  19. Lockhart or Stretch?
  20. Agree, Lockhart has already passed him in my eyes. More cleaner around the footy and doesn't fumble at all. I'd rather his mate Billy Stretch in the side then him.
  21. So did I. There are no coincidence that we chased after May and Lever because the club saw that our defence was our weakest point. Even when Oscar was being a regular starter each week. And if we go by the media reports that we are chasing Alex Keath then what else does that explain. Once May and Lever are up and running along with Hore and Frost then Oscar will be playing at Casey. That's football. Some players are simply better then others and thats why Lever May and Frost are all ahead of him.
  22. No he didn't
  23. @stevethemanjordan
  24. Um that was played yesterday mate?
  25. Exactly right. But you are also wrong. Jason ventured down to Tassie on the back of receiving a list of names to go and watch closely. Lockhart was one of them. Taylor and Tim Lamb both went down and watched several games where Lockhart was the clear stand out on that list. What pricked our recruiters ears up was Lockharts BOG performance in the stage game against the NEAFL. Taylor and our recruitment team encouraged him to try his luck on a more high standard at VFL level. Before Tom Couch had signed at Casey Demons at the start of 2018 he pushed Lockharts case really hard to Jade Rawlings as well but also got huge endorsement from Jason Taylor as it was an opportunity to really keep an eye out on a weekly basis. Couch had played with and mentored Lockhart, especially from a fitness point of view. Couch really encouraged and pushed him to give VFL a real go. It was Jason Taylor and his team who first spotted Lockhart.
