The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
He's played the past few games up forward and hasn't really done much at all. Even crow fans will tell you that he's struggled up forward in the SANFL.

Richmond VFL v Casey Demons - Round 18
Alex Neal Bullen get dropped and yet he's not even named at Casey..? Where Maynard?

Sam Frost - Contract status
Just clueless. Frost still has Frost moments, but he gives us a different dynamic down back with his speed and dash. If we have a Lever and May fit and healthy next year then Frost will go up another level. The big improvement for me has been his intercept marking. Closing in on 100 games next year so another experience defender we need down back. Must re-sign asap.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Chell he's finished.. struggling to make an impact at VFL level..

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Hogan in his first 2 years was our genuine key forward. Then after that he stopped crashing into packs and almost turned himself into a roaming 3rd tall in the Luke Bruest type.. Frustrated me that we changed his game style from a power forward to someone who wanted cheap joe the gooses. In saying that I'd still take him back..

Brandon Ellis (now a Sun)
MB welcome back old mate.

Brandon Ellis (now a Sun)
Experience, premiership player, and still only 25. Give me Ellis any day on a wing instead of the Wagner's.

Brad Hill
I do NOT want Hill on the basis that i know Mahoney and co would trade pick 2. We have the potential to pick up a future superstar in Noah Anderson who is destined to have a good 12 year career.

Alex Keath
We've barely had Lever May and Jetta all in the one side this year. The few games May has played this year pur defence has looked the best it has in a long time. If we do recruit Keath, where does he fit into the Frost, Lever, May lineup?? Frost is also out of contract currently as we speak.

Ranked 16th for Best U23 Talent
Me too mate, I'd rather Anderson. He has the ability to make a sudden impact up forward in the same way as Jayden Stephenson but also in the midfield as well. He brings genuine x factor and would add a whole new element to our side next year. Heard Mahoney on the radio last Thursday saying we have interest in Brad Hill and would assess the option of trading an early pick if thats what it takes. I nearly vomited in my mouth..

Ranked 16th for Best U23 Talent
It is a no brainer that if we are set with pick 2 then we head to the draft and pick up Anderson/Rowell. Absolute no brainer! While it's good to get in experience players like May and Lever, we also need to balance our list and continue to generate with elite young talent. Don't [censored] this up Mahoney/Viney!

Eddie Betts
Until he gets to Melbourne......

Alex Keath
Hopefully a straight swap for ANB.

Alex Keath
Victorian-born Keath is reportedly being offered big money from Melbourne while Hawthorn is keen on Greenwood, according to an AFL report last month. https://www.adelaidenow.com.au/sport/afl/teams/adelaide/brad-crouch-attracting-interest-from-rival-clubs-after-starring-in-his-return-from-injury-with-the-adelaide-crows-this-season/news-story/68c43da3f62f9304af48d3dab5af3c1b

Roosy: "Deplorable" Dees have "no recognisable brand"
That camp was at the end of 2017... how does that effect whats happening in today's result? When we were beating the cats and hawks and on our way to the prelim there was absolutely no talk of a "pre season camp".. I think we focus whats happened last pre season when we are putting 15 players to surgery or half our list unable to get on the training track until February.

Injury List - Season 2019
Sam Weideman had screws and and a plate put into his jaw I think. Injury was worse then originally thought. Doubt he'll play again this year.

Roosy: "Deplorable" Dees have "no recognisable brand"
The reason we are in this position is simply because of Goodwins work, nothing to do with Roosy at all. Some on here have issues with the timing of Roos coaching tenure. In my opinion 3 years wasn't enough. In his last game as coach we got thumped by 111 points by Geelong and I voiced concern about where our list was at and that it still needed a lot of work and developing. Few points, Of course things in our life change, but he was back doing full time media commitments with Fox and triple M the next year (2017). From my understanding he was also open to being a coaching director for the club but nothing eventuated.. was there a break down in communication between Jackson and Roos? Survive in the footy industry? What does Roosy need to survive from? [censored] spare me honestly Lord Nev.. he is well noted premiership coach with the legacy of creating a bloods culture that has instilled discipline and leadership. Still going strong as of today. So his only reason to back to football is so that his legacy isn't hindered by our current performance? What a load of [censored]. If thats his sole reason then he's only doing it out of spite. Proves again thats its only ever about Paul Roos the man himself. Did a lot of good things for the club and got us going when we needed to. But also did some questionable things. Some supporters are entitled to question his motive right from the very start LN.
