We had a family zoom Saturday night and my aunty is related to the Danihers ( from her side of the family so we have no connections nor have I ever met Joe ) but she was asked about the Daniher thing and she mentioned that Joe won't be the only big name player. Merrett, Hurley and Hooker were others that were named. There you go wasn't aware of that.

Mentioned earlier this morning that I wouldn't be surprised if it comes out soon that Merrett will be assessing his options. To me he is the perfect player for us. Has that great blend of inside and outside speed and skill. If the above was to eventuate, I would think Melbourne will look at him closely. Goody was his midfield coach and he's played with Melksham and Hibberd. Keep an eye on this one.

Yes to a degree @WERRIDEE. But they are also limited players who would only get games of our list was hit with a big injury list. Realistically Dunkley is already behind Sparrow and Jordon for that midfield spot. Not once did he get named emergency at all. He's just another inside midfielder who making up number on our list. Chandler is a bit the same. He's behind Pickett, ANB, Hunt, Spargo and even Bedford. Our aim for this trade period and draft is fast outside players/tall forwards.

Yeah he's got a good case to stay on the list Deever. I was torn on him hence why I had the ?? Next to his name. His game on the weekend was very impressive. Far better then anything McDonald has done in the last 6 months. Upon reflection, I'd re-sign him.

What are you on about? He was never on Collingwoods AFL list. He was recruited from their VFL team after winning back to back best and fairest. At one stage last year he was leading the AFL competition for intercept marks. Oscar is finished. 5 years on the list and has not improved one bit. Matter of fact he's gotten worse.

I'm sure I'll get to the positives when I'm ready. Its not like 2017 where I was just gutted. I am more just super disappointed and frustrated at the same time. Its another year wasted. Which ever way you look at at it. We had a list that was injury free, and yet its stuff like team selections, and poor game day management is what continues to kill us.

Yeah i could easily list 3 complete spanners who shouldn't post on here, but I'll leave that for another time.
