  1. 101 disposals to us 57. That is a serious joke. Do we not want the footy? When the pressure is on we fail to stand up. Petracca the only one standing up.
  2. Harmes is rubbish. Either play him in the midfield or don't play him at all. Umpire need to be taken out the back and shot
  3. It may seem it doesn't matter to some, but in must win games like today it does. When I think of leadership and captains that set the example on field, Viney, Gawn and May have proven this from time to time. When I look at Melksham I see a bloke who is a lazy two way runner who barely provides any ounce of tackling pressure. He's barely fired a shot this year. He kicked 2 of the biggest junk goals last week. When the heat was hot for 3 quarter he was missing as usual. May was the perfect fit for me. This is Goody just looking after hos best mate once again.
  4. He wouldn't be the only one in our current best 22 that's like that..
  5. Sympathy? Your kidding right? He's half the reason why Gawn isn't playing. Whether he was told or not its a gutless thing to do. He was more focused in crashing into Gawn then getting a kick. Hope karma hits him really hard in the coming weeks.
  6. I'll make a few points. 1. Ned McHenry is nothing but a gutless coward. Learn to get a kick first you fat little potato. Hope your career is riddled with injuries and your out of the system quick smart. Harsh? Nah [censored] the little turd. 2. Where was our players looking out for Max? We allowed [censored] like McHenry and Walker to crash into Gawn and yet no one reacted to it. Is Vandenberg supposedly in the side to crash and bash and protect his his teammate? After giving away that free kick i wanted him right amongst it looking after Gawn. Not just Vandenberg but everyone else. We seriously sick when it comes to looking out for our teammates 3. Max, love you more then anything. But geez wouldn't hurt to get some angry pills in you and actually give it back to blokes like McHenry and Walker. I remember watching Braydon Pruess last year play angry in his first game against the swans. I look at Shane Mumford and he too is someone who just doesn't take a backward step and hurts blokes for a living. Time to get angry Max because time and time again this precedent has been set since the port Adelaide game and nothing has been done since.
  7. He had some injury intruptions during the covid break with his calf's. Only started practice game 3 weeks ago.
  8. Higgins and Simpkin the the danger players for them. Give them too much space and they'll kill us on the outside, especially Higgins.
  9. This game will be no walk in the park. Some of the comments on here saying we should beat them easy have seriously no idea. This is the kind of game that on paper we should beat easily, but we don't. I don't mind the selections. People making out like Spargo is the worst footballer in the league is downright just [censored] poor form. The kid only played off in a prelim as an 18 year 2 years ago against the eventual premiers. He's lost his way a little, but he's got the work rate to work his way back into form. He had an absolute shocker in round 1, but willing to give him another guy because he brings added pressure into our forward line. What worries me is that we legitimate don't have a genuine ruckman. McDonald has the tank to play as a ruckman, but don't expect many hitouts. Needs to really get on his bike and outwork Goldstien. Brayshaw, Harmes, Sparrow. The opportunity is right in front of them now to grab the midfield spot and take it with both hands. First time our 2019 draftees in Jackson, Rivers, Pickett will played together for the first time in red and blue. We are the only club this year to have all of our draftees playing in the same game. Another good tick for Jason Taylor and his crew.

    Pickett is playing
  11. Well done Jacko! Where's @Mental Demons? Weren't you the one taking pot shots at Jackson for playing ahead of Tom McDonald the last few weeks because he couldn't take a contested mark? ?‍♂️?‍♂️
  12. I don’t think Pruess is in Adelaide.
  13. Nice mate. Looking at his WAFL profile, he's listed as 182cm and 72kg. Midfielder by the looks of it?
  14. I believe he played a few colts game last year as a 16 year old @Pennant St Dee?
  15. One thing we haven't seen is Petty and Weideman up forward. I rate Petty's body of work as a forward last year and if its one thing he has over Weid its his one touch grab. Jackson, Petty, Weideman. A potential good forward line to build around.
  16. If Weid had played from round 1 like he bloody should have then he would easily be winning our goal kicking. Actually don't be surprised if he does. In good form.
  17. Its pretty simple really? The Burgoyne tackles did no not cause concussion and were able to play out the game. Anb tackled knocked the kid out. That's what the AFL are trying to stamp out is the ones that cause concussions. If Burgoyne tackled had caused this then he would have easily received his 3 or so weeks.
  18. This is well said by Kane Cornes https://www.sen.com.au/news/2020/08/07/cornes-adelaides-gawn-tactics-more-severe-and-aggressive-than-carlisle/ I seriously hope Mahoney and co have gone to the AFL to ask for a please explain. The fact that fat little spud in McHenry was able to get away with the dirty tactics was beyond the joke.
  19. Is Viney injury serious?

We have nothing to give to Sydney.
  21. Weid and Jackson works and have been working since Hawthorn. Worrying signs for Tom McDonald.
  22. Trade him

You blokes have gone early. Brayshaw has been good in the 2nd half.
  24. Oh fritta.. [censored] off and let Jackson take the mark.
