Could put @olisik in the same bracket. Will only ever come out after any loss. Goes MIA when there's a win...
  2. Have saints played West Coast yet??
  3. This might sound harsh but i would be trying to convince KK to retire for the good of his health. Frees up another spot on our list and salary cap also.
  4. St Kilda have shown that recruiting the right type of player in Dan Butler can really change the dynamic of the side. And its not about going out and spending big, but finding that right player. Paul Ross nailed it when we got Jeff Garlett for like pick 60 or so.
  5. Yep, and I don't think there has been any announcement on potential list cuts?
  6. Interesting that we've been linked to no one so for this year. I think this time last year we had Langdon and Tomlinson that was already on our radar. With no 1st round pick, I do wonder whether whether we will be quiet in the trade period and focus more in going to the draft.
  7. His work rate is off the charts. One of the most hard working wingman we've had since Stephen Tingay. Has only played 77 games would you believe. Can't wait until he is up around 100 game mark. Reckon the best is yet to come with 'Lingers'
  8. Serious serious talent is Kozzie. Said right from the start he is as close to Jeff Farmer as I think I've seen. Has a bit of Eddie Betts in him as well. Remember when a few on here said we made the wrong call picking Pickett ahead of Weightman after his first game ?‍♂️?‍♂️ can someone please tag those people on here.

We are the only team in the AFL this year that's had all our draftees from last year play together in the one game. Again, that's a huge tick for Jason Taylor.

    Shocking thread. Mods please delete
  11. Really dumbfounded by some of these calls that we play better without Gawn. Cockiness and the arrogance to think we are better off without our 2nd best player who's potentially on his way to his 4th All Australian. If Gawn is fit, he plays. Its pretty simple.
  12. How is Baker suppose to knock the door down when he was left behind in Melbourne. Personally yes I would like Baker on that wing because he showed glimpses last year with his run and carry. I personally think they need to try Hunt one last time, his career is at the cross roads and his speed on the outside is vital.
  13. He's 28 going onto 29. He's not going to get any better or quicker. Regardless if he has a clear run He's not going to get much better anytime soon. He's cooked, wait until he plays on a wing against the likes of Brad Hill who will expose him for his lack of speed and outside spread. He was at 55% disposal effiency. That is below average.
  14. This. Regardless of what people think, I hope Watts is welcomed back to the club once his career is over. 150 games in red and blue is no easy feat.
  15. Based on form I'd happily give him a 1 year contract.
  16. Nah he obviously won't get dropped, but like Melksham, he's one of Goodwins favourites.
  17. This is overstates way too much on here. Him crashing into packs is the reason why he gives away stupid free kicks. If that's his role then he is not doing that at a reasonable standard. Besides his Gold Coast game where I thought he was okay, he's been uneffected all year.
  18. I'd be dropping Vandenberg before Jones. Vandenberg has been terrible and gives away far too many crucial free kicks. Goodwin talks about being discipline and yet Vanders is not that. Jones had 6 involvements last week on the back of 6 again last week. Vandenberg only had 1 last week. Vandenberg had 55% disposal and 2 score involvements last night. He is cooked.
  19. I'm calm as always OX ? But honestly, Spargo played his role tonight. He did something tonight that unfortunately Bennell hasn't been able to do and thats continue to harrass and put pressure on their forwards. He stays in for now.
  20. Awesome talent. How were the two hangers!?
  21. I think so mate. Its no coincidence that our run in the back end of the year was instigated by Brayshaw and Oliver playing big minutes in there when Viney was out. I love Viney, but our midfield set up was so spot on tonight.
  22. Rivers is such a powerful player. The penetration in his kicking is good to watch.
  23. Spargo?? Are you serious? He had 7 score involvements and barely wasted the ball. Did some actually watched tonights game?
  24. Just like Omac got embarrassed by a kid and got dropped for it. We all saw it and Goodwin did too. Tomlinson was good tonight with his run and dash and creates an extra option with his hard running and work ethic. He stays in. Omac is just slow. Who does he match up next week Bin? Serious question?
  25. Hannan? Gee wiz what game were you watching? Took some good contested marks and really got us going his pressure was up. He stays without out doubt. I do wonder whether we need to rest Jacko at some stage. He's played 2 games in a row off 4 day break (doesn't seem to affect him) and eventually he'll need a breather. Did McDonald do enough tonight?
