No he wasn't. He was poor all pre season and poor again against Fremantle. Not only that his game against North last week selfish, lazy and poor. I'm disappointed to hear that Sparrow has been left out in the expense of Harmes. Sparrow was a CLEAR best on ground by an absolute mile.

Theres been times where I have watched footy classified and she's been bullied on that show due to her going against the grain that is the boys club mentality. I like that she doesn't back down and people would be surprised to learn that she has some really good contacts within clubs that actually trust her. Say what you want, but she's a fine journalist.

I think they were organised mostly through demonland but use to have a few blow ins from Demonology who would also suit up. Really great fun.

Rollo popped on here out of nowhere about a month ago and had stated that I think he's in an old folks home. I tried to start up further conversation just to see how he was tracking but didn't get a response. Rollo was a highly respected member years ago. He alongside @Whispering_Jack were big organisers in the Forum Footy against other internet club forums. Rollo use to live in wangaratta where I also lived and we had many great discussion about footy and life I general. I hope he is going well still.

RobbieF was a great. Use to enjoy reading his content. I believe he use to post on here under a different name? But haven't seen him on here for couple of years. Another who I hope is still kicking around.

Yeah wow.. who's running it now days? Demonology was at his best from early to mid 2000's. They use to get some real quality training reports and photos. I didn't post there, but use to read it a fair bit.

Goodwins gone through much more adversity then Roos did with us. Goodwins had his own challanges and rebuilt the list back up again. Without Goodwin, Oliver, Salem and Petracca are looking at new clubs. Roos got what he came for and that was the $$. This whole notion of the club wouldn't be here without him is actually laughable.

This is Goodwin more than anything now.. I'm a bit over Roosy still getting kudos. He left 5 years ago. Yet nothing on Goodwin whos created the environment for these players to want to stay and sign long term. This got nothing to do with Paul Roos or Peter Jackson. People need to move on from Paul Roos and Give Goodwin the credit he deserves. His time with us was a bit overrated imo.

Makes me wonder now what happens to someone like a Sam Weideman?

I hope he plays. I watched the Casey game and I'll tow the same line as Richo and say he was by far BOG by a mile. Sometimes this is the kind of game he needs at VFL level just to get his hands on the footy. Hope he comes in now and gets given some good midfield minutes now that Viney is out. His hardness and attack on the ball is very similar.

Goody where does this put the club in terms of salary cap wise? I'm guessing when there is a big deal like this, there's a potential for a squeeze out with some players?
