Really sad about young Kozzy. Condolences to him and his family. As Richardson said, we are extremely lucky to have Mathew Whelan as a guide of support for Kozzy. The beauty about is that he's still training over there I'm guessing with a SANFL club. Great opportunity for the likes of Bedford, Chandler to stand up. Makes sense that there are rumours about offering Kobe Farmer a spot on our list.

How did he look physically mate? Doing a pre season for North Heidelberg is stark different to AFL. Makes you wonder how much catching he needs to do in terms of AFL fitness.

Anyone else concerned about the whole kozzy Pickett situation? I know he's been home in SA for for whatever reasons, but hasn't trained for 2 whole weeks, and now Victoria shutting down as a whole, I don't see him returning anytime soon.

Some really good points mate. Reading this post just reminds me of the sad situation with Shane Tuck and the autopsy report on his brain which was incredibly sad and alarming. I'd rather McCartin worry about his health then footy if that's the case.
