  1. I think the way we use Windsor off half back will be pretty similar to how the Giants use Lachie Whitfield.
  2. Thanks to everyone for the in depth and thorough reports. @buck_nekkid I'm intrigued on what impressed you the most about Kentfield today? Times I saw him at Casey I wasn't overly impressed but when you've been shipped over to the other side of the country and expect to influence straight away in a completely different environment then I think it's okay for a bit of leniency in the kid. I'm keen to see how he goes after a full pre season at AFL level.

  9. I must admit I'm very excited about not only hearing how impressive Brown has been at training but also his potential going into next year. He's clearly made a statement with the condition he's come back in but also coming 2nd in the 2km time trial which is an impressive feat for a second year player. His form at Casey was underrated this year and I wouldn't be surprised if he's in our best 23 come the end of next year as a half forward midfielder. He is my pick to replace ANB. Tough and quick left footer that reminds me a lot of Kieren Jack who was also a tough and honest midfielder for Sydney.
  10. To Hell and Back Season 2. Now on Netflix.
  11. Definitely looks like Mitch Hardie. Racked up some massive numbers at VFL for the cats and was pretty stiff not to get a game at AFL level. If he's signed at Casey then that's a great get for our VFL team.
  12. So does having an experienced ex forward automatically means success as a forwards coach does it?
  13. Jail Culley would be a fantastic get for Casey. Watching their games this year, the biggest whole we had on field was midfield depth. Not only was losing Jordon, Dunstan and Harmes a significant hit for Casey midfield depth, but I felt the loss of James Munro was a bigger one. We got Campbell Hustwaite as a replacement but he lasted 5 minutes until injury. Culley would add a bigger mature body in the midfield and take the load off our young players. I am hoping Riley Bonner also signs with Casey just to add some further experience.
  14. Appreciate the update @kev martin 👏
  15. Thanks for all the reports. How is Mentha adjusting to the training loads? Keen to know what his skill set and speed is like from the regular attendees?
  16. Huh? How is this the footy clubs fault if we don't get him? Silly take. Number one, he's not aligned to the club regardless of his bloodlines. He falls under any normal draftee that comes through the junior talent system. Number two, take away the romanticism if it all, if the club best saw fit in his talent and done their absolute work on him then yes, that's the only way the club will recruit him. I don't want the footy club picking a kid purely because he's Robbie Flowers grandson. They've shown in the past that regardless of name (Kobe Farmer, Noah Yze), they're not afraid to turn them down because they did not fit our talent criteria, which is something I've loved about Jason Taylor and his team. Pick the best available talent alone. In saying all that, so much water to go under the bridge. Hope he develops well.
  17. Fritsch is recovering from post season knee surgery.
  18. And now I've missed the cut off editing time.. 🙄
  19. A good move..
  20. No one other then Brisbane was ever getting him. The fact that it took for us at pick 5 to bid on him is a disgrace to the system in itself.
  21. I see Roy George was with Kozzie yesterday doing a boxing and cardio session according to his insta. Sharp to a wing isn't all that big of a surprise. It's clear Goodwin rates the wing position and to play that role, you obviously need greater running capacity to grind up and down all day long. Shape has this in spades. The only thing I will question this is whether Sharp has the football intelligence of Langdon in being able to execute the role as good as he does.
  22. Funny enough when I was reading the Carlton bigfooty forum, majority of their supporters wanted Langford over Jagga.
