  1. My money on JVR to win the junior leadership award.
  2. Some heavy competition, and unfortunately probably some are in a better position to offer more then what we can.
  3. Can someone post full article
  4. Saints now have picks 7 and 8. Would the Saints come for Oliver knowing that either those picks would get the deal done?
  5. I'd add Tholstrup to that mix also. Hynes and one of those other elite junior mids keeps us contending for another few years.
  6. Thanks to @layzie for providing me full article of draft propsect from The Age. When I was reading through this one pricked my ears. 27. Cooper Hynes Dandenong Stingrays/Vic Metro Midfielder/forward, 190cm, 28/2/2006 Talent League stats (avg): 23.7 disposals, 4.7 clearances, 1.5 goals The Age’s August top 30: N/A Hynes makes his debut in our rankings after an eye-catching season where his powerful and aggressive playing style drew comparisons with ex-North Melbourne captain Jack Ziebell and current Roo Cam Zurhaar. West Coast and Melbourne are two of his biggest fans, but there are other clubs that would not consider him in this draft range. Hynes’ endurance will need to improve if he is to play any meaningful midfield minutes in the AFL, but his forward craft and clearance work are rated highly. He and Langford provided a strong one-two punch for the Stingrays. @Adam The God This would make sense if we're trying to get an early pick in the teens as Hynes would be our clear target. A combination of a O'Sullivan/Langford/Lalor and Hynes would be mouth watering.
  7. You say some bizarre things but sure this is a genuine pisstake right?
  8. Jimmy Allen was a natural ball magnet whatever level he played. A gun footballer at suburban/semi professional level.
  9. I agree, it's been handled extremely poorly. Start off by getting rid of Pert for starters. This wouldn't be handled so poorly under Peter Jacksons and Josh Mahoneys watch. Look at the way we professionally handled the Jack Watts and Jesse Hogan scenario.
  10. No I didn't mean you sorry, and I've gone back and edited that part.
  11. He's been a handful for the footy club and the players for the past couple of years. The club has gone way above and beyond more then anyone on the playing list. It's no wonder the players are completely fed up with him because he simply won't learn or take responsibility for his actions and behaviours. How about for once Oliver takes responsibility for his own actions and start acting like a grown adult for once in his life. He's 27, not an 18 year old kid. Paying a guy pretty much 1 million a year to take the absolute [censored] out of the system sums it all up. There is an absolutely no way anyone can accuse the footy club for its lack of support because if anything the club has supported him to the tilt. He literally had to live with the Gawns this year because the club cannot trust him off field.
  12. Sure. So what do Carlton get out of it then?
  13. Genuine laughing stock we are. Can't wait to go through another year of Clayton Oliver distraction and noise. Which player is on baby sitting duties next year? But you do you Melbourne.
  14. Haha well played!
  15. Shows up on mine.
  16. It's Clayton Oliver for sure. Only have to click on his name and it goes straight to his official insta profile.
  17. Cheers GD's 👏 On a side note, do you think we'll target any particular name to fill in some midfield depth?
  18. Can someone post a summary of the article please?
  19. Keen to hear @goodwindees thoughts in all of this.
  20. Way too completely miss a point and go off on some random tangent.
  21. Yeah nah that's not how it works. Secondly why on earth would he leave Geelong to come to a club that's a current rabble.
