Look for us to now play with two rucks.- 2025 Player Reviews: #12 Koltyn Tholstrup
Going to give @Dee Boys a fair plug here but he is well connected to a current player within the team. The day before the official delistings had been announced, DB was pm'ing myself with the name of the blokes that had been told that their contracts would not be renewed.. 24 hours later it was officially announced. So I believe him 110% on the feedback that has been provided to Tholstrup.- 2025 Player Reviews: #12 Koltyn Tholstrup
We gave up a lot for him.. snd so far it has been a poor return. Needs to shed some weight and get lighter on his feet. Looked overweight and it was evidently clear that he should not have been playing senior footy right from the get go this year. Incredibly poor management.- Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026

Yes but we would have had to give up an early pick for him which meant we wouldn't have had Lindsay or Langford.- 2025 Player Reviews: #15 Ed Langdon
Absolutely agree.- Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
You have contradicted yourself yourself big time. You made the statement that Trac has contributed significantly to our off field situation, only to then list off a few dot points which one point was basically off the back of a freak on field injury and another that you have taken a stab guess at (Maynard) because why not just blame Petracca eh? “The reason (Maynard) was let into the house I think was because Max Gawn and Christian Petracca happened to be there and Max Gawn let him in,” Wilson said on Channel 9’s Footy Classified. Majority of those off field matters had nothing to do with Petracca at all.- Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
Haha this is so factually incorrect its not funny..- Farewell Judd McVee
What? McVee is simply out of contract. His well within his rights to exercise his options elsewhere as we speak and thats clearly Fremantle. I dont put McVee and loyalty in the same basket.- Trade Targets

Interesting part on that. If Adelaide is not prepared to pay all of his wage - forcing Melbourne to still chip in some of his salary at a new club next season - the Demons would certainly ask for a better return on the picks. It means at least one more club may have to get involved in the Petracca deal if the Demons target a top-10 pick in the trade which Adelaide currently does not have. The future of hard nut Crow Luke Pedlar is the curve ball as the goal kicking playmaker is interested in more midfield opportunities after playing mainly forward in 2025. Pedlar, 23, has been hard hit by injuries at Adelaide, limiting him to only 39 games in five seasons. The man taken with pick 11 in the 2020 draft, from Mt Gambier, could emerge in trade discussions along with full back Jordon Butts. Butts, 25, is a free agent next year and could become a target for Melbourne if the club deals premiership defender Steven May to Collingwood. The Demons conceded the seventh-most points in the AFL this season and are eager to improve their defensive record under new coach King next season. But the Crows have not yet shown any interest in trading either Butts or Pedlar and would likely try and complete a Petracca deal with Melbourne with picks only. - Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
