  1. Pretty sure it has to be season ending. Similar to how we got both Henderson and Culley with the season ending injuries ro AMW and McAdam.
  2. Ratings for the NFL half time show isnt the issue and never has been. You’ll get worldwide viewers regardless. Picking the right artists for those audiences is another thing. They missed the mark with Bad Bunny, he was god awful. I didnt mind Kid Rock personally. Your last part makes zero sense whatsoever. The half time show was trending on X so of course people are going to read up on the comments. American and Australian media have tendency to use X as a social media platform to gain an audiences response snd critic. My opinion or criticism on his performance has absolutely nothing to do with whatever this person has gotten up to on his personal life. I couldn't give too hoots honestly what he does behind the scenes.. I am judging purely based on his performance and it was awful. Grammy winner lol? America is scraping at the bottom of the barrel if he was a former Grammy award winner.
  3. No i wasn't. This has nothing to do with any previous AFL performance And yes i am being serious. I could ask you the same question in how you came to conclusion that was actually a great half time performance. It was horrid. Looks like i wasn't the only one who thought so too.
  4. I hope the AFL were watching because it was genuinely one of the all time worse half time shows we have seen in a long time.
  5. Nah. Its actually not that big of a deal of we dont achieve success. This year should be seen as starting point of a quick rebuild. There will be teething issues this year with completely new structure in coaching and game plan. And honestly, who actually cares what the media think. They dont define how club success should look like.
  6. Yeah unfortunately I too think we made a blunder not going for an experienced head in Thomas. Guerra has been a disappointment so far.
  7. Bottom four imo, but in a good way. I see it as a development year purely because we're adjusting to a whole new game plan, new coaching structure, complete restructure of playing list and then add long term injuries to Viney and Bowey. I see this as the year where guys like Langford, Lindsay, Windsor should all play pretty much every game barring injury. Break out seasons from Jefferson Howes and Tholstrup. Pickett, Taylor, Matthew, Kentfield, Mentha to all debut. Two first rounds picks already in the bank will help, especially if we finish on the lower end of the scale.
  8. Has he had another setback? Its coming up 1w months to the injury, he would need to miss a significant chunk of time for us to open up a list spot. Unless you're talking retirement?
  9. No, it would mean he would go on the inactive list if he was to say retire and then that frees up a list spot.
  10. Do we know whats up with Luker Kentfield?
  11. Not sure.. If anything I see the opposite. Reckon he will be hungry to return. In the meantime, I suspect we will open up a list spot with SPP prospect if either May or Viney aren't available for the year.
  12. Cheers @Brenno Bailey Laurie play?
  13. I'll take that for now.
  14. Ffs, can the season already
  15. Unfortunately, Achilles injuries past the age of 30 in professional sport especially AFL can be rather debilitating and career ending.
  16. Makes some sense first, then come back to me with a proper response. 👍
  17. Its not a beat up mate. Its simply noise and distraction we dont need. You honestly think Kingy is shrugging the shoulders and having a giggle thinking how much of a beat up this is. A rookie coach putting his best foot forward after making significant cultural changes in the off season and yet again we find ourselves in the news for the wrong reason one which is completely out of his hand, but its still negative press being placed upon us.
  18. Thanks to the trackers. Id like some insight into how Steven King is like at training. What's his demeanour like? Does he actively engage with the players? VPulls them aside, vocal. etc.. Thanks.
  19. Dont think we will be seeing Steven May for a while now.
  20. I dont get to training at all, but based on reports and if you go off his numbers from draft camp with the 2km run, he was rated elite with a time of 6:17. The reason he looked heavily underdone last year was because people forget he missed a chunk of the pre season with a hip injury and was rushed straight back into the senior team off tje back of zero match fitness by our so called brain thrust of a coaching committee. His first two years in the AFL system are very similar to ANB first two years before he had a break out year in his 3rd. Lets hope its the same for KT.
  21. Well considering the last podcast these two ever did was 2023 and Gus has now been retired for 2 years now while also going completely off the grid with football in general... I think you can put two and two together here.
