NON-MFC: Rd 16 2023
Harmes hasn't properly tagged since 2019. It also correlates why Harmes hasn't been the same player since 2018 when he became one of the top taggers in the game. His form has since been on a slow decline. Not sure why some think that this will all of a sudden change.. Goodwin has been on record saying that he prefers to back our system and method in the midfield so that we're not solely not focused on one particular player, but more so on a collective group of midfielders.

No different to when we drew with a lowly Hawthorn back in 2021 right?

That was unreal from the Howe kick out. Never in the world have we ever attempted what he just did.

Their playing syle is copybook text straight from the Damien Hardwick game plan. Just remember McRea was an assistant coach to Dimma during the glory years. They won 3 premierships with the exact same game plan the McRea is implementing right now which far out weighs the vulnerabilities because right now they're still getting the results. They're well balanced on all three parts of the ground and they're about to get a fit DeGoey back and also Sidebottom which will further strengthen their team side come game day. Not sure how you can compare their current style to ours of 2018, i mean its not even close. You talk about a team with so many vulnerabilities and that was us back then. Our defence leaked so many simple goals and it got shown out big time against the eagles come prelim. We were also pretty inconsistent at time throughout that year. Went on a 6 game winning streak but then lost 3 in a row with one coming against the lowly saints. Not only that, we were close to missing the finals that year as well. Collingwood are no way near close to even missing top 4.

2023 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
I did. He was good that game but not great imo. His form playing for the Academy this year has been really poor and even when he's gone back to SANFL level he hasn't been as productive as that recruiters were expecting especially with the huge wraps he had. His previous SA game prior to the Vic Country game was pretty poor as well. He just seems way too much of a Chad Wingard for me who's very inconsistent and goes missing for too long of periods of the quarter. There are players that in the draft that are speeding way past him in the pecking order. If he doesn't improve his form I wouldn't be surprised if he drops out of the top 20 order. Just on De Mattia, I tok am a big fan. Tough midfielder who's also got a bit of class about. Thought he was exceptional against SA. I also liked Billy Wilson off half back. Reminded me a bit of Hayden Young.

No. His form has been horrible this year.

No he [censored] wouldn't lol. The dude isn't even on an AFL list and that's purely because he's not that good at all.

2023 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Yes mate, the boy from Shepparton United. Whilst their is still water to go under the bridge with most kids during their 15's and 16's year level, Onley is a kid with serious talent. For his age he's already quiet tall for a midfielder (193cm). Previous to this year he was alternating between forward and back before they switched into the midfield where he absolutely dominated. Certainly one to keep and eye on.

2023 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Known him since a young tacker when he would be down in the footy sheds around gameday running water for our team. Played footy and won a premiership with his old man Jamarl who was an absolute gun country footballer.

Five most improved players
Not sure I'd have Sparrow up there. Is his form any different to last year?? Yet to see anything from him that suggests he's taken the next step.
