  1. Really worried about this one. Not overly confident because at the end of the day it's Richmond. They've won't 3 premierships in this era and still have high quality premiership players running around.
  2. Watched the game today. I made comments after the Essendon game that the likes of McDonald and Tomlinson should not pull on the red and blue jumper again unless we are depleted with injury. On today's performance I'd be happy for them to stay at Casey for the rest of the year regardless. For senior players that was pretty woeful performance on their standard. They've given us great service especially McDonald, but they honestly cooked. Not many winners there today. Dunstan and Harmes the only two that can hold their head up high. Dunstan needs to be rewarded for form. Absolute joke that Sparrow has done nothing since 2021 and gets a free ride while guys like Dunstan and Laurie are putting on consistent performance at VFL level for little reward this year. Missing the likes of Buntine, White and Munro will always cost you at VFL level. These guys are the absolute heartbeat of the team and drive high standards. I counted 3 AFL listed players for Richmond today compared to ours which had 14 AFL listed players. So yes, very embarrassing loss. Hopefully this doesn't flow onto Tomorrow night.
  3. Umpires are a [censored] joke
  4. How great of the football club to let Mitch White partake in the rehab group with the footy club. Absolutely no coincidence our AFL and VFL alignment is one of not best in the country.

Nah. Cadman has added more weight and looks significantly bigger then what he did around draft time. While Jefferson may have added some weight he's still a twig and gets pushed off the ball pretty easily at VFL level.
  6. When I watched Kalani last year at Lavington for the under 15's national championships he was towering over his dad. I was with a colleague and we estimated that he was already at 200cm tall.
  7. Could Schache be the sub?? I know it's not normal to have a 200cm tall forward as sub but it is interesting that he's being used a fair bit in the drills? I'm guessing Laurie is the same but?

Currently toiling away from the SANFL after starting his career off well. Kicked 32 goals in just his second AFL season. Talls are he'll be assessing his options at years end with a few Vic clubs interested. He's 191cm tall forward who plays more of 3rd option. Everyone remembers our significant interest in the 2020 draft where we were hoping he'd slip to our second pick (Trent Rivers pick). https://www.sen.com.au/news/2023/04/21/his-future-would-be-in-question-whats-next-for-overlooked-georgiades/
  9. Courage Gus. Love him. Very passionate Melbourne support who gives up a lot of his time for thr footy club.
  10. I think it's more management. If he plays Monday night then he only has a 5 day break especially coming back from a back injury. I think they also want to see whether his body can hold up after a match.
  11. Woey played last week.........
  12. The best our forward line looked was against Sydney when we were a lot more mobile with Petty, Fritsch and JVR as our main keys for the day. All 3 provide defensive pressure when the ball hits the ground where as Tmac defensive game is non existent. I didn't fall for his 4 goal performance like some did against half a WAFL side. No coincidence that he plays well against the worst team in the comp but fails to perform against 3 other teams he's come up against. So that's why he's 'omitted' again this week.
  13. God Tom Sparrow is a cat with nine lives.. Dropping Tmac was the right choice. It had to be done and I think unfortunately for him he just spends his days at Casey unless we're smacked with injuries.
  14. It now has its own twitter account 😅
  15. I get that certain ex players will get boos but the Baker one was genuine [censored] poor by Melbourne supporters regardless what people think of his ability.
  16. Guaranteed he's going to get boo'd... It's all part of the theatre and you'll get nuffy supporters at every club who'll go out of their way to boo. Jesse Hogan gave us much better service then Jacko and there were boos when he stepped foot on the MCG in 2019.
  17. Yeah I'm not a fan of booing either, but can understand the theatre of it all. Only ex player I can think or that got a good reception was James McDonald when he was at the Giants.
  18. Duursma would be nice. Caddy reminds me a bit of Charlie Curnow. Do honestly think an elite midfielder has to be high on our priority list.
  19. Melbourne supporters boo'd Oskar Baker even after we delisted him without playing an AFL game for 2 years. Compared to Jackson circumstances and how he left, the boo's will be well and truly coming his way from Melbourne supporters.
  20. Management only think of one thing and one thing only...
  21. The dude admitted that he agreed to join Freo mid season last year. That alone lost it for me especially coming from someone that was sticking up for him all of last year.
  22. Okay no more Luke Jackson tweets from me. Just happy that we're potentially staring down a top 5 pick. Okay one more because this one is my favourite...
  23. When the going gets tough and you need your big 900k year stars to stand up in the last quarter. Let's turn to this guy.
