  1. Could Schache be the sub?? I know it's not normal to have a 200cm tall forward as sub but it is interesting that he's being used a fair bit in the drills? I'm guessing Laurie is the same but?
  2. Currently toiling away from the SANFL after starting his career off well. Kicked 32 goals in just his second AFL season. Talls are he'll be assessing his options at years end with a few Vic clubs interested. He's 191cm tall forward who plays more of 3rd option. Everyone remembers our significant interest in the 2020 draft where we were hoping he'd slip to our second pick (Trent Rivers pick). https://www.sen.com.au/news/2023/04/21/his-future-would-be-in-question-whats-next-for-overlooked-georgiades/
  3. Courage Gus. Love him. Very passionate Melbourne support who gives up a lot of his time for thr footy club.
  4. I think it's more management. If he plays Monday night then he only has a 5 day break especially coming back from a back injury. I think they also want to see whether his body can hold up after a match.
  5. Woey played last week.........
  6. The best our forward line looked was against Sydney when we were a lot more mobile with Petty, Fritsch and JVR as our main keys for the day. All 3 provide defensive pressure when the ball hits the ground where as Tmac defensive game is non existent. I didn't fall for his 4 goal performance like some did against half a WAFL side. No coincidence that he plays well against the worst team in the comp but fails to perform against 3 other teams he's come up against. So that's why he's 'omitted' again this week.
  7. God Tom Sparrow is a cat with nine lives.. Dropping Tmac was the right choice. It had to be done and I think unfortunately for him he just spends his days at Casey unless we're smacked with injuries.
  8. I get that certain ex players will get boos but the Baker one was genuine [censored] poor by Melbourne supporters regardless what people think of his ability.
  9. Guaranteed he's going to get boo'd... It's all part of the theatre and you'll get nuffy supporters at every club who'll go out of their way to boo. Jesse Hogan gave us much better service then Jacko and there were boos when he stepped foot on the MCG in 2019.
  10. Yeah I'm not a fan of booing either, but can understand the theatre of it all. Only ex player I can think or that got a good reception was James McDonald when he was at the Giants.
  11. Duursma would be nice. Caddy reminds me a bit of Charlie Curnow. Do honestly think an elite midfielder has to be high on our priority list.
  12. Melbourne supporters boo'd Oskar Baker even after we delisted him without playing an AFL game for 2 years. Compared to Jackson circumstances and how he left, the boo's will be well and truly coming his way from Melbourne supporters.
  13. Management only think of one thing and one thing only...
  14. The dude admitted that he agreed to join Freo mid season last year. That alone lost it for me especially coming from someone that was sticking up for him all of last year.
  15. Okay no more Luke Jackson tweets from me. Just happy that we're potentially staring down a top 5 pick. Okay one more because this one is my favourite...
  16. When the going gets tough and you need your big 900k year stars to stand up in the last quarter. Let's turn to this guy.
  17. Jesus christ you say some absolute tripe but this is by far the worst take ever.
  18. Really hope Dunstan gets an opportunity.
  19. I definitely agree with the tmac one. If I remember correctly, wasn't this the reason why they brought in the centre circle in the mid 2000's because of the knee injury to Adam Goodes with the knee clash? This was also the time that it Took away Jeff Whites greatest strength and that was his ability to run and jump over much taller ruckman back in the guy. Could be wrong but. .
  20. Again, nothing absolutely sinister to what he's done to Grundy, nor have you explained what was actually done thats out of the ordinary. Like I'm trying to see what he's done in this particular incident that's thuggish about it? Like all ruckman that need momentum to jump forward he's put his knee up exactly like Grundy has here. The knee clash in the PCL area is what got Grundy. Compared to DeKoning and Meek who have literally stuck their knee out without even jumping to protect themselves and stop the opposition ruckman forward momentum, then yeah I think that's a pretty [censored] act and both should have both been suspended. Draper's technique against Grundy is no different to how I've seen Gawn ruck a thousand times.
