PREGAME: Rd 15 vs Geelong
Cannot see why we can't play Smith, Petty and JVR in the same forward line? You'd just drop the extra small (Spargo). People forget Smith is one of the quickest players in our list so realistically he does play small and short. Also showed in the weekend that he defensive forward pressure is pretty good for a player his size. The other aspect is their flexibility. Both Smith or Petty can plug holes down back in case of an inury to one of our tall defender during games.

Back 6 were [censored] unreal! Adam Tomlinson take a bloody bow. Ive questioned his work this year but even after last week I was satisfied with his performance. This week he went up a notch! Lucky he wasn't dropped as @DeeSpencer was adamant he would... 😎 This now has to be our settled back 6 for the rest of the year.

Demons on Track for Premiership Glory
I won't quote that whole thread of yours @binman because I don't want a double up on a long well written out message. Bit that's not bad by you, actually well written and you've clearly put time into that response. You make some valid points indeed. My main point was that there are some on here that have the right to reserve their judgement on team performance and shouldn't have to be told what and how they should feel on current team performance. There are still some patterns of behaviour still lingering from the team of last year that probably why some are still hesitant with being over too optimistic. Me personally? I'm in the camp of just reserving my judgement for now. And on top of that, I actually think we win today.

Welcome to Demonland Kynan Brown
I didn get a chance to watch the game yesterday but will try and sit down to watch replay later this week. In the Coates league game I have seen him play he reminds me so much of Josh Daicos with his ability to do his work on the inside but also spread hard to run and receive on the outside. Hoping that was on show yesterday.

Targets 2023
Key forward and more midfield depth.

Think this needs to be a serious consideration over the summer similar to the transition the club did with Trent Rivers in doing more midfield training and working on his fitness/core as a plan for Bowy.

Weren't you the one telling us all last year to have faith in our loading program and it will set us up well come finals even though some on here actually raised concerns whether it would? Awks... You went into hiding fairly quick after the Brisbane final.

It's not about romanticism? You literally brought in the " We shouldn't debut him as a sub because he's the son of a club champion".. lol If he was the sub the coaches would be doing a great job reminding him that the sub role isn't purely for one quarter bit to expect to come on at any time. Expect the unexpected, especially when injuries could easily come in the first quarter. It really isn't he worst option for a debut.

Realistically he's the same height as Lachie Neale but probably same build as Zak Butters. I definitely think it can work.
