Brayshaw got exposed big time for his lack of fitness and poor conditioning trying to play as a midfielder on Friday night. Was embarrassing to watch. An absolute plodder in there. Never again.

    You think?

No. I'm not accepting the season is over one bit. Dangerfield missed 6 games last year and that did not stop them going on a full blown winning streak without him. Accept it at your own peril, cool. I won't.

I feel for Dunstan big time.

Feel like this will get swept under the rug during the weeks. This smells of when we sent Joel Smith back out with a strained groin in a nab game back in 2019 and ended up missing the year because of further damage.

Well, all this does is create opportunity for someone like Tom Sparrow. I've been hard on him of recent because I haven't felt he has taken the next step as I thought he would. If there was an opportunity and chance to really take the next step and show everyone what he's got then it's now. There's some big midfield minutes there for the taking and it's up to Sparrow to grab it with both hands now.

It sounds like we've already gotten the scans back.

I'm watching Tom Mitchell for Collingwood being a completely different player. They were bad last year in clearences and went and brought Mitchell in to fix this. Poor Luke Dunstan who's a clearence specialist gets 42 disposal and 2 goals in a VFL game and Goody still refuses to play him because he's happy sticking with the same soliders each week who continue to get beaten around the stoppages.
  10. It become so predictable by the 2nd quarter that now opposition teams just swam in numbers to the contest that'd been kicked to and just put number us. Port did a number on this on our kick outs.
  11. Nah, they're much better drilled then what we were last year. Their forward line absolutely shades above ours last year as a starter.
  12. You can just about hand Collingwood the flag.

How on earth did he play out the last quarter???
  14. Just quoting this because it's real.
  15. Yeah nah this is a cop out and stock standard typical Melbourne supporter excuse ( not actually having a dig at you, just seen this excuse too much of late) footy isn't about playing in pitch perfect weather at the MCG every single week mate. It should be an anywhere, anytime mentality which we had back in 2021.
  16. Sorry am I denying this am I? Did it go completely over your head over my reasons in my explanation of the way our midfield is getting exposed by the better sides. They looking a million dollars beating the Hawthorn's and North's of the world but when it come to the pressure cooker against the top quality sides that we've seen so far this year and even going back to last year they've been found out big out. We brought in a A grade ruckman in the off season and we still can barely get that connection right.
  17. Yes i am in the belief that Yze needs to come under pressure for our poor clearence work and inability to connect between our elite ruck duo and elite midfield set up. The 2nd quarter slaughtering in clearences was simply unacceptable and pathetic. I made comparison that Greg Stafford copped it bad last year on here for the way we entered our forward entries. The same pressure should apply to Yze because right now we've got one of the best midfield combination this club has ever seen and we're potentially blowing our chances if he doesn't rectify the deficiencies that's costing us. First to say when we're good? Now you're making things up. I've been calmly reserved with all our wins except against Sydney where I thought we just smashed a genuine top 4 contender and celebrated hard. Realistically they're just a bottom 6 club now. We've beaten easy beats and that's it. I got well and truly sucked in last year. Get back to me when we beat Collingwood, Brisbane and Port Adelaide again and prove that we're just not flat track bullies.
  18. Good to see Jed Adams get his numbers up again. 7 marks seems like a good game from a defender. Had next to no pre season with the shoulder injury and is now starting to pick up form. When he was drafted it was his draft highlights out of all the draftees that impressed me the most with his strong intercept marking and neat left good. Good signs ahead.

But but the sacrifice running??? He played at Casey yesterday mate lol......
  20. "Straight sets" We're no way near guaranteed to make top 4 yet pal. Missing out on top 4 spot in itself will be a fail.
  21. Unfortunately I've come across so many parents like this especially in the junior development ranks. We've had disgruntled parents in the past being quite vocal from simply not making the cut in the Murray Bushrangers system. You honestly feel for the kids because the fun gets taken out of them purely because they're faced with enormous and unnecessary pressure from their own parents.

I mean he still had 5 disposal in the last quarter. So he's had a decent crack at least But yes, surely he either didn't tell coaching staff or If he did then I seriously would hope they didn't advise him to at least try and push through.

As someone that's had hamstring issues in the past from playing, the fact that he ran out the last quarter says to me that he may have had some tightness or even maybe cramp. Even if it was a strain, there is no way he could move in the wet the way that he did that last quarter. Trying to push through a strain will only result in a pretty bad tear which is where you're looking at 6-10 weeks. Fingers crossed it's just tightness. 8 day break should hopefully be okay. Could still miss just the 1 week at worse.
  24. He hasn't been told anything by the footy club. I do know this for a fact. They've kept their cards close to their chest because they want to see Kynan perform at a consistent level before they make the call on him. He's doing everything right so far but still has a bit to go especially with how he performs in the under 18's Championship carnival.
  25. Not cool to hear.
