POSTGAME: SF vs Carlton
Lever was one of our best tonight. Him and May are the reason we lost by 2 points and not more. Maybe point your frustration at Viney who had zero composure all night and just completely banged it onto his boot straight to a Carlton defender. For a guy that supposedly thrive in big games Viney has been sub par in the finals campaign the last 2 years. Him and Oliver were putrid tonight.

I don't know, maybe I was oblivious but I thought at times he was getting better at rolling players through some weeks. Last week's decision not to play the extra tall defender after seeing it so successful this year completely lost it for me. I just couldn't believe he botched it that badly and it ended up costing us. We play Tomlinson tonight and we looked much better defensively structured. Don't get me started on the whole Tmac thing tonight. I need to cool the jets first on this otherwise I'll explode.

Goody - Genius or insane?
Let you know after the game. Going out straight sets in finals two years in a row would be down right embarrassing.

It was all set up for us. Had we gone through to the prelim we were playing either a banged up Port Adelaide or GWS giants off a 6 day break. This is why I'm not one bit confident tonight now. Just think the players will be mentally cooked from last Thursday as well as the emotional tool from the Brayshaw saga.

Just cannot see how Smith and Tmac as our two main talls are going to kick a winning score. Chandler and Pickett have barely fired a shot the last couple of weeks as well. The brunt of it all will be left to Fritsch unfortunately. Carlton have all the momentum and emotion wave going with them where as I question if the the mental and emotional toll from all the Brayshaw fallout will have an effect. Prove me wrong otherwise Melbourne.
