Our entire midfield from last year was pretty bad apart from the odd outlier, I still have nightmares about them being touched up by a poor Essendon outfit and an injury ravaged Carlton who were Cripps + their VFL side

I agree, look at the Hawks. Jai Newcombe aside in parts they did not have a single dominant mid for most of last season but a large group of dynamic players who can rotate through there, playing an attacking style with elite speed and running power. It will take a while to get there for us but I think this is more the way the game is trending, Geelong have a similar setup as well.

I think we will be a bit better than last year and win 8-10 games, don't think we will be as bad as a lot of ppl think. Petracca is our only real loss from last season, Oliver did not contribute to any wins in a meaningful way

Will be a good player for us if he stays fit, my main concern is he has a pretty bad degenerative knee issue doesnt he? At least playing most weeks on the glorious MCG will be a lot better for his legs than that glorified carpark at Docklands

Don’t mind him at all if he can stay fit and as others have pointed out we can’t go all kids for next season. Should be exciting watching him, Koz and Caleb burn up the MCG grass at least!
