  1. Disappointed for Jeffo...hopefully recovers well
  2. Hoping for a good strong hit out and most importantly NO INJURIES....interesting looking at the two sides we are quite young but the Tigers are still super young....the difference between a full back to bare metal rebuild and the sort of "reset" we have undertaken
  3. Aren't these games sold out because the capacity of the ground is greatly reduced due to redevelopment? I am going tomorrow but I assumed it will be about 5000 crammed in like sardines...
  4. Booked my finals tickets already
  5. Still a big unit….can he play back pocket for us this season?
  6. Don't like him at all anymore, very glad to see the back of him and his primadonna antics: was a boat anchor for our club in his last couple of seasons.
  7. Im going, looking forward to a bit of "match simulation" (whatever that is!) Even less important than a practice match by the sound of it!
  8. True but at least if we're young and bad there's a chance we can get better
  9. Our entire midfield from last year was pretty bad apart from the odd outlier, I still have nightmares about them being touched up by a poor Essendon outfit and an injury ravaged Carlton who were Cripps + their VFL side
  10. I agree, look at the Hawks. Jai Newcombe aside in parts they did not have a single dominant mid for most of last season but a large group of dynamic players who can rotate through there, playing an attacking style with elite speed and running power. It will take a while to get there for us but I think this is more the way the game is trending, Geelong have a similar setup as well.
  11. Classic video I find it really funny! Also good we are going with our unique identity as a football club, a least we have one which is more than you can say for teams like North, Bulldogs and most of the interstaters.....even Richmond is just Collingwood lite in terms of how they are perceived
  12. I think we will be a bit better than last year and win 8-10 games, don't think we will be as bad as a lot of ppl think. Petracca is our only real loss from last season, Oliver did not contribute to any wins in a meaningful way
  13. St Kilda's is worse they have Jack Steele on the cover!
  14. Wow he looks like one of my 13 year old daughter's year 7 classmates....I am officially OLD
  15. Looking forward to Gawn Culley Onley - the tallest onball division in AFL history!
  16. as an old metal head my vote: Iron Maiden - The Number of the Beast even though Im sure all the young players would be saying wtf is this
  17. Yes, lot of talk when Lyon went back to St Kilda that they got off on the wrong foot and have never been big fans of each other...
  18. Will be a good player for us if he stays fit, my main concern is he has a pretty bad degenerative knee issue doesnt he? At least playing most weeks on the glorious MCG will be a lot better for his legs than that glorified carpark at Docklands
  19. Not sure we need him, might end up at Casey a fair bit
  20. You don’t have to read between the lines too hard to see why we are desperate to see the back of Clayton and why no one except GWS showed any real interest in taking him off our hands
  21. Don’t mind him at all if he can stay fit and as others have pointed out we can’t go all kids for next season. Should be exciting watching him, Koz and Caleb burn up the MCG grass at least!
  22. 1 million times better than that poxy Suns strip
  23. Of course they will....they had been clamouring for us to sack Goody for 2 years and when we do it "how can they treat their only living Premiership coach with such disrespect?"
  24. Its the hope that kills you...
