If that’s not low impact you might as well remove that as a category
  2. Can’t complain about getting 8 premiership points in Adelaide
  3. Flat start
  4. Agree with many it will be tough, 5 day break and we are a bit banged up coming up against a desperate opponent at home....but Adelaide's scoring power and forward entries have been poor so far this season, will back our super defence to stifle and frustrate them enough to afford opportunities up the other end for a tight W. Dees by 11 points.
  5. Bummer, Marty has looked good since hes been back
  6. Trac’s a warrior, I saw that knee jar too but the way he plays he’s probably sore mid week every week
.be surprised if it was enough to keep him out
  7. Good opportunity to keep a side out of form down with our stifling defence and grind out another interstate W
  8. Wonderful win, we soaked up their pressure for 3 quarters and then really went to work in the last
  9. No Horne-Francis for them helps us
  10. Never been less worried about a team getting more kicks and marks than us
Hawks just went sideways and backwards the whole match we were never in any danger
  11. Great win considering our injuries and a very annoying opponent
we look much classier with our ball use so far this season
  12. They still had more scoring shots than Essendon despite losing i concur go Dees
  13. Hawks aren’t as terrible as a lot of people think and Mitchell is a smart coach who will do everything to disrupt our game
:that said you’d expect class to win out in the end and us to get home by 25-35 points
  14. Petty for Brown was always going to happen
not sure why ppl are shocked by this, not like Brown was Jeremy Cameron last week
  15. 3 talls might work the Hawks backline is pretty bad at the moment
  16. Tall side, hopefully works well on a dry day at the MCG
can see the reasoning Petty is too good to leave stuck in the VFL
  17. Yeah I reckon Tmac struggles with his agility and sideways movement to be effective as a forward these days - backline better option for him now
  18. Playing another team with a poxy backline is helpful for us at this stage of the year trying to bed in that “forward connection”
if we can’t get the best of Frost and Sicily I don’t think we are going too far this season
  19. Petty/JVR/Fritsch/Pickett (changing with ANB in midfield)/McAdam/Chandler is probably our best forward 6 IMO
  20. Yes I agree if he's not ready he shouldn't play, up to the coaches and conditioning staff - but Goodwin did say in last nights presser that everything has been building to get him ready for round 2
  21. My reason is coz Petty is a better player and there isn't room for both of them - no knock on Brown who did his job but he was up against a guy who is inexperienced, 10cm shorter and 15kg lighter....the Petty and JVR combo looked dynamic in the couple of matches we saw it last year so time to keep building that synergy
  22. Petty in for Brown for mine: time to settle our best forward line in, and while Ben was decent he was playing on a flanker. I think JVR+Petty is our best tall forward setup this season
  23. Happy to admit I was wrong about TMac and BBB both were very solid today
most pleasing thing for me was how tough and hard we were, had Bulldogs players jumping out of the way
I thought last week the Swans out hunted us so great to see the “1 wood” back
  24. Lot of belting it blindly into the F50, luckily the Dogs defenders seem to have NFI under the high ball
could go either way though we would want to play a bit better to put a break on them
