We only have a small hardcore supporter base and I don’t think recent success has really changed that sadly…yes I went every week in 2012 and 13 when we barely won a game, but I can’t hold it against those who decide they have better things to do….
-
I always attend whether I think we can win or not, wasn’t overly fussed by the loss just disappointed in the overall lack of effort and care in disposal/ball use. Surely you can’t think the boys played as well as they possibly could last night? As for the train situation they specifically said trespassers didn’t think about that other option…

One of those nights where I questioned why I bothered making the journey from the outer south east, only to watch a miserable below par effort, game that get suspended for lightening and then trains delayed for what felt like an eternity due to some moron on the tracks….all in all a painful night we need to get our senior players match hard and committed next season. Too much left to kids tonight with predictable results. Can’t do much when half the side is sitting in a super box though.

Even I have not got the mental fortitude to stay to the end of this

Lever was very quiet last week…7 possessions 4 marks only maybe isn’t 100% doesn’t hurt to give Woey another go

Feel like we should win this one: Collingwood have no key forwards so if we can put enough pressure through the midfield and force them into long bombs our intercept defenders will clean up. On the flip side they have a heap of dangerous small forwards so if the ball is on the deck a lot we will be in trouble. Looking forward to getting along, bit sad it’s over for another season….

Id keep Tomo if he wanted to stay but he is a backup player when everyone is fit, so will prob leave for a North or St Kilda where he would get a game every week. Tall backs are looking a bit old/fragile now, can we rely on May and TMac to play full seasons anymore? Need some strengthening up there.

Its a maybe from me...do we need any more 30 year olds?
-
Great news: hoping Jack remains injury free and becomes our next 300 gamer, what a champion
-
100% agree - at this point Id be less ashamed if my children told me they wanted to make a career on OnlyFans as opposed to being a "Footy Journalist"
-
But I thought Kane Cornes said he was no good…
-
Personally I don’t think we should hang our superstar player out to dry quite yet…..everyone’s personality is different after all might be taking him a while to even get his head around footy again
-
Great signing….Max will play until he’s 40
-
For selection integrity if we were playing finals no as all our tall forwards fired and there isn’t a spot for him….but maybe we should somehow find a spot, even as the sub to honour a retiring premiership player
-
Definitely time to stuff up Collingwoods season for good as they did to us in 2017….still haven’t got fully over that worst day at the footy ever
-
So much upside in our young group and that’s without arguably the best of the kids in Windsor….plenty of good times ahead even if we dip a little next season I don’t think we will be down for very long

Great arvo in the couch!

I didn’t hear that part….when was it said?
-
if Trac goes I will be disappointed but renew my membership and go to the MCG each week to watch the boys we do have in the red and blue do their best. Go Dees.
-
Ever the optimist I thought we would still play finals until that 2 point loss to GWS....close but so far this season too many key players unavailable killed us....that and our depth just isnt what it used to be, so its good to see some good youth coming through
-
Agree he is too slow - the game has gone past slow accumulators
-
Sad to lose a great clubman and player in ANB, but this is the reality of modern footy…wish him all the best and move on with a refreshed list in 2025
-
Just more invented rubbish from Morris and channel nine to give those tools on Footy Classified something to go on about and another reason to stick the boots in
-
I can’t see the AFL scheduling us at Docklands where even less of our supporters would turn up…
-
I don't know why we have this self flagellation/obsession about low crowd numbers....it's just how our supporter base is when the side isnt winning, and no different to many others in the comp. Carrying on about it isnt going to change anything....
