  1. I'll be very disappointed if we dont win this, Sydney still have half their side out and look very short all over the ground where we are at full strength
  2. Fantastic win, just about lost my mind in the last quarter, so proud of the lads
  3. Looking forward to heading in soon for today’s match, as long as we have a real go I’ll be happy….Hawks are a talented side with a lot of weapons that move the ball really quickly, not an easy assignment but hopefully we can stay with them.
  4. Going to come down to can our tall forwards take a mark and the rest of the forwards put enough pressure on vs their rebound from the backline, which is very strong. Forget Sicily I would lockdown on Battle who has been in red hot form.
  5. Get Jacko back AND keep Kozzie to really stick it up Freo!
  6. Good second half got our attacking game going, I was in despair about our rubbish forward entries in the first half but looked a lot better in the second.
  7. We are really tragic…
  8. We are so damn frustrating
  9. Hmmm less than confident here we’ve won the last two but been pretty patchy…Dees by 4 points
  10. I thought we played OK without being all that impressive against a young team…the classic do enough to get the 4 points without over exertion….lot of mucking about with the ball well over 400 possessions for 12 goals. Hopefully Goodwin is right and the form is still building
  11. Agree with this...we have had one good game only and the Tigers certainly give effort under Yze. We certainly don't want to just show up and think it will happen
  12. Richmond are a very young side with a sprinkle of experience where as we are a mainly experienced side with a recent injection of youth....we have an average of over 100 games experience vs their 80....whether that translates into a W I am not sure but if we want to do anything at all with this season just have to get the win.
  13. Time to stop being so nice and get ruthless: Koz, you’re our most valuable asset and under contract, absolutely no trade unless it’s the most generous coming back our way in AFL history
  14. Wonderful Arvo at the footy I am pretty hoarse from screaming, great to see the style of play we saw glimpses of in preseason come together in a real contest. Also glad to finally get one back on Freo they have bullied us in recent matches.
  15. More of this style of footy please!!
  16. Very hard to see how we keep it under 50 points today….
  17. No. I would have been a maybe a couple of months ago but too many even worse reports on his behaviour have emerged since.
  18. No backline and no forward line gulp…go Dees
  19. This will be entertaining in macabre way if nothing else…
  20. I don’t know how we’ve managed to be the worst or equal worst team in the comp at the moment it’s quite staggering….but I shall be there as usual hoping for a better effort
  21. How can we be THIS bad??
  22. I like everyone else cannot fathom these selections…going in too short in perfect conditions at Adelaide Oval, wtf
  23. Finally some good news!
  24. I think one of our biggest issues is we’ve lost our 3 most critical players for ball movement all at once: see if things improve when Pickett, Windsor and McVee return. Things look pretty bleak at the moment and sitting there yesterday was a reminder of the bad old days, but I’m still hopeful we can see a turn in form as the year progresses. The list isn’t anywhere near 2012 levels of woefulness.
  25. I’ll be there….tipping us to win by ummm 1 point!
