  1. 100% agree...we are a smaller club with a small hardcore fanbase, why is that so bad? In the Redlegs we were making plenty of noise.... So sick of these so called "supporters" joining in with the media to stick the boots in, what good does it do anyone??
  2. What are we doing at training punching each other in the throat!?
  3. hope he puts a hit on a few GWS defenders
  4. the mini rebuild continues...we copped a lot of flak for a poor season last year but still won 11 games while getting plenty of kids in, better than ending up ancient like Collingwood
  5. I like it...the excitement and speed of youth early in the season, Goody must have been watching the Tigers last night!
  6. also worked for me to solve the same issue
  7. I would play 3 tall forwards even if there is going to be a bit of wind and rain...never go in too short at the MCG its asking for trouble. Turner has enough tricks to be dangerous he's got that bit of X factor about him, I would play him with JVR and also debut Johnson to help Max in ruck and take his turn forward.
  8. GWS will have a short forwardline with all their injuries to talls, so will need the midfield to be on their pressure game, force as many long high balls as possible for May/Lever/Petty to intercept.
  9. Please not 4-6….
  10. Who is the Giants back up ruckman anyway I have no idea…?
  11. Going to be tough they are a high octane, high pressure team with plenty of skill…but I think we will provide a tougher midfield challenge than the Pies did and with the home ground advantage on our side, we’re a chance.
  12. Sounds like a solid hit out and hopefully no fresh injured so we can hit GWS with a strong side and hopefully secure a first up win
  13. Good friends with Clayton too apparently...whether the pair of them spending a lot of time together is a good idea is debatable, but I would certainly entertain the idea if he could commit.
  14. MAFS style
  15. Bizarre injury how does a grown man break his thumb in a door!?….sus
  16. Shame he is out his lack of chasing and general air of disinterest defensively would be a benefit to us
  17. I think we are a decent chance. Without Tom Green they will lack inside ball winners: provided we don’t get absolutely torched on the outside of course.
  18. We looked great in parts and horrible in others….good run for the boys I think we should be OK this season but will really need all our stars to stay fit and on the park as the depth isn’t there until the kids get up to speed
  19. Gulp we don’t have a good track record with this incident
  20. Greeny is a true leader
  21. There’s always injuries, players unavailable for various reasons and players who lose form….Culley may not start in rd 1 but there’s a good chance we will need him at some point in the season
  22. Can see Jai adding a lot and taking the pressure off Clarry, Trac and Vines winning the hard ball in the middle
  23. I was there too was our first win at Docklands in many years....might have been 2015 poor Daniel Cross was KOed in his last game
  24. Some good news that out of the terrible injury AMW copped (get well soon), Jai gets his chance....we might have the physically biggest midfield in history if we played all of Culley, Petracca, Oliver and Langford in the one side
  25. I’ll probably go assuming the trains aren’t all messed up
