Viney misses a sitter, but we goal off the deck by Salem. Melb 34 - Carlton 8

I'm confident Jeffy will play round 1 but we've shown in the past that we don't take in players underdone Take Brayshaw for example last year

I asked Kent how the back was tracking. He said he was still about a month away. I asked if he thought he'd be available for round 1. He said he was hopeful but he didn't sound convinced at all

Going to get my jumper signed

http://www.westernbulldogs.com.au/news/2017-02-16/bob-back-for-jlt-opener Dogs have released their team. Suckling, Bont, Wallis, Redpath, Wood the notable absentees

I've honestly heard very little of him. I just want to trial guys like him in JTL. NOT overly fussed on winning
-
Isn't it his back?

I'll be attending the first preseason game against the doggies next week. Then we'll be able to see who the real improvers are -

Hopefully we don't rush Kent and Tyson back for JTL. Still give them a run but I'd really like to see how guys like Johnstone, Weed, Hannan, JKH and Smith go -
I love Viney as much as anyone but he's too young. We should've waited another 1-3 years when Jones is ready to hand the baton over

What happened to Kent -
Haven't been around for too long to see Flower, Schwartz etc. so... 1 - Jurrah 2- Robertson 3- Davey 4 - Jamar 5 - Hogan 6 - Petracca 7- Howe (only for the speckies) 8 - Bruce 9 - J.McDonald 10- Neitz
-
Apparently Pedo has come back in poor shape and is struggling. Weid is still too skinny. I really like Tim Smith's chances to play early in the year
